While party music blasts through a speaker system, kids and adults take to the trampolines at Jumping World, where 35,000 square feet is dedicated to bouncing. The main trampoline court spans 10 lanes and features a foam pit, and staffers oversee matches on two dodge-ball courts. Before planting their feet at the arcade, visitors can refuel at the snack bar and sign up for convenient birthday-party packages that include a staffer to oversee set up and clean up.

Spookers Halloween's costume area actually has dressing rooms. It might not sound like a big deal, but most costume shops don't, which means guessing if that sassy sailor costume will provide enough coverage to hide your fish-identification poster.
Spookers' customers can try on thousands of costumes in a range of sizes, and if they visit the Gulf Freeway store, customers can peruse more than 18,000 sq. ft. Kids can decide if they want to be a pirate, princess, or bumblebee when they hit the streets to go trick or treating. Grownups have even more choices.
First, they must decide if they'd rather be scary or sultry. Then they can try on costumes such as the Playboy bunny, mod girl, Old West sheriff, or Roman gladiator. The shop stays open until midnight on All Hallows Eve to ensure that latecomers can still get a costume in time to avoid going to a party as the sweaty late guy.
At almost every one of his family’s events, Durwin Randle found himself behind the camera. When a niece blew out her first birthday candle, he was there. Before long, he became the family’s unofficial documentarian. When his mother passed, he wanted to do something special to commemorate her life. He knew that photography was his medium, but he wanted to see if he could get more out of still images. He created a slide show of sorts, a video of images with some meaningful songs that together explored her life and told its story. The project proved very popular, and others wondered if Durwin could do the same thing for them. He went into business under the title of PhotoVid Gallery, taking pictures and turning them into videos, cards, invitations, and other printed designs.
Today, with the help of his wife and business partner Sherronda Randle, he bustles around Houston, meeting clients on-location. While Durwin handles the technical end of things, Sherronda specializes in putting clients at ease and getting them to smile. Together, they create albums and slide shows to commemorate weddings, advertise businesses, and celebrate anniversaries.
The event planners of The Perfect Affair find cookie-cutter special events anathema to their mission, which is why they take the time to listen to and work side by side with each client to achieve their vision for a wedding, birthday party, or another special celebration. The team offers four wedding-planning packages that are designed to help ease the minds of brides and grooms at any stage of their wedding planning. The Platinum package, for example, sees planners guiding the happy couple through each step of the process, from the preplanning stages to creating a floor plan and finding vendors to the very last rendition of "Shout" at the reception. Along with remaining completely available to clients at all times, the planners of The Perfect Affair take pride in attending to every detail of the to-do list, including booking venues, keeping track of the budget, and finding a way for "Here Comes the Bride" to be performed by Pink Floyd.
