As a board certified Health Coach, I lead healthy and natural weight loss programs for women in their 30s that have at least 30 lbs to lose. Unlike others, my programs address the source of weight loss - the mind. Clients experience a mindset shift that allows healthy lifestyle choices to stick once and for all.
While she was traveling back and forth from the Northeast to the Midwest every week, Mari Vivace found herself frustrated by her lack of makeup, or rather, her lack of makeup she needed. She actually owned enough makeup to fill a suitcase, but she didn't want to cart it all around like some sort of pageant queen who moonlights as a RuPaul impersonator. Yet, that's what she would have to do if she was ever going to have the right products to create a soft daytime and a more vibrant nighttime look. She finally realized that if she was ever going to get multipurpose makeup, she'd have to create it herself. And thus, Inspiration Cosmetics was born.
Today, Inspiration Cosmetics' products streamline the makeup process. Things like the paraben-free 3-in-1 Stick, which can be used as a blush, lipstick, and eyeshadow, and the Lip Twins cylinder, which contains both a lipstick and a matching liner, make getting ready in the morning even faster. The website offers tips for applying each product, and Inspiration Cosmetics even has a cadre of makeup artists who video chat with clients to teach them how to design the perfect look for work or a night out on the town.
Leather sofas sit across from a large wooden bar, whose polished surface reflects the flashing lights of flat-screen TVs overhead. The casual, yet elegant, atmosphere of Corrine’s dining room mirrors the distinctively American sensibilities that inform the restaurant’s menu. Chefs pluck their culinary inspirations from regions as diverse as the North East and the Deep South, arriving at a selection that includes rotisserie chicken, bourbon-glazed tips, and seared fillets of Atlantic fish. Though far-flung in origin, these dishes have at least one thing in common: each pairs nicely with a beer or cocktail poured by the barkeeper.
Corrine’s isn’t just known for its food, though. Three banquet spaces, including a grand ballroom, host private events seven nights a week that range from casual cocktail parties to wedding receptions for up to 300 guests. Back in the dining room, live entertainment takes place nearly every night a week; the schedule features everything from DJ-hosted ladies’ dance parties to cover bands and Dad playing his favorite Grateful Dead songs with a borrowed guitar.
At 14,000 square feet, the Alex and Ani City Center dwarfs the famed ice rink at New York City's Rockefeller Center and provides visitors with plenty of room to ice skate for hours. Located in Kennedy Plaza, skaters can enjoy a day of gliding against a backdrop of Providence landmarks during open skate sessions. After graceful spins across the ice, guests can indulge in cocoa, coffee, and delicious eats from downtown Providence's nearby local haunts. The rink also offers birthday party packages with the use of a heated pavilion space, group reservations for business and social outings, and full-ice private event rentals.
Harlem Globetrotters Playing Three-on-Five
Since forming in the 1920s, the Harlem Globetrotters have continued to entertain millions of parents, children, and general basketball admirers with a trademark blend of athletic precision and razzle-dazzle showmanship. For the team's 2014 tour, a rotating [roster](http://gr.pn/PHdb6w) of Globetrotter favorites?including three female players?takes to the hardwood each game. Spectators might spot veteran guard [TNT](http://gr.pn/rOe0P4) sharing a behind-the-back pass with dunker [Quake](http://gr.pn/QTIGVh), whose high jump once cleared 7 feet, cruelly dashing his dreams of working in a ceiling-fan store. The Globetrotters might also present a study in contrasts with 5-foot-2 [Too Tall](http://gr.pn/PHdmPh) and 7-foot-4 [Stretch](http://gr.pn/1dYrbUt), the team?s tallest member. During each Globetrotters game, youngsters laugh along and witness the jovial jocks performing classic routines of unconventional passing and sudden transmutations of water into confetti. To infuse their visits with an extra shot of unpredictability, the Globetrotters also let fans in each city vote on special rules for every game; past rules have included the use of a four-point shot and the installation of a penalty box. Over the years, similar antics have followed the Globetrotters around the world, including to 122 countries and territories and all six continents on which basketballs grow naturally. The Globetrotters? extensive travels haven?t gone unnoticed: they?re one of the few teams to earn a spot in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as ambassadors of the sport.
