Clients reward their muscles for carrying cars over large puddles by undergoing the stress- and tension-eliminator massage, a bodywork treatment that starts with a scalp rub and slowly works its way down to the neck, shoulders, arms, and feet. The center's staff also includes hairstylists who leverage international training to yield fashionably cut and colored 'dos.

Inside a 1,000-square-foot beachfront studio, D'ames Day Spa's skilled aestheticians soothe clients with hot towels and warm, scented lotions during every beautifying service. Many of the treatments, such as facials and body wraps, use scent-packed, natural ingredients—including herbs, fruits, chocolate, and a distillation of childhood memories—to soften and nourish skin while enveloping the room in calming aromas. Luxe massages, ranging from soothing hot stone to pain-ousting deep tissue, ease taut muscles and diffuse oxygen throughout the body.

On the outside, Fringe Hair Salon looks like any other single-family, redbrick home. The homey atmosphere persists inside as well, though you won't find any beds or kitchen tables there. Instead they encounter blooming flowers in a Victorian-style waiting area, a fireplace filled with green and white candles, and a cozy salon station where wedding up-dos and ombre highlights come to life.
