Hands-on learning and playtime in JW Tumbles’ interactive classes helps children explore the far reaches of their cranial caverns. Parents with toddlers younger than three years old can enroll in parent-participation classes such as Squeakers Class, geared toward four- to 10-month-olds, or Wobblers Class, where baby bodybuilders 11 to 18 months old practice tumbling and balance to increase motor skills and decrease the need for sippy-cup creatine shakes. Ages three and up can fly solo (parents can watch from the sidelines if they wish) during age-appropriate and highly interactive independent classes. The Artsy Kids Class teaches two- to five-year-olds creative skills, and three- to four-and-a-half-year-olds prep for kindergarten in the Stompers Class.

Apart from your business's main attraction, do you offer any "hidden" services or activities that visitors are always delighted to learn about?
We also offer private lessons for those interested in receiving individualized instruction.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
While I was growing up, I dealt with bullying issues. Martial arts gave me the confidence to defend myself?without ever having to fight. I no longer looked like a victim, and was no longer too shy to talk to anyone. I made more friends and quickly let bullies know I was not going to be a willing victim. As I entered college, I knew that I wanted to help people feel more confident, deal with bullies, and just be able to enjoy life more.
As the old adage says, "Stuff happens." What training do you and your staff have to stay ahead of the unexpected?
Our instructors constantly receive training at the dojo. As the head instructor, I am always going to seminars to learn new teaching and martial arts techniques. This helps me provide the safest and most effective learning environment possible.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Mixed martial arts is not just about learning how to punch and kick and beat up the bad guy. It's about learning to believe in yourself, feeling better about who you are, and treating yourself the right way by eating and sleeping well. It's also about increasing your discipline, focus, and confidence. You will have fun in our classes and be in the best shape of your life while learning how to defend yourself.
The experienced dance instructors at Steeltoes Dance Studios have been teaching little ones to gracefully twirl and leap across the dance floor for 29 years. They strive to boost each student’s self-image as they dole out personal attention and technique corrections in their studio’s friendly, noncompetitive environment. Their small-group classes range from vocal to ballet and tap to hip-hop, and are divided by age into junior, teen, and adult classes. During hip-hop sessions, the staff teaches current moves from modern stars such as Usher, Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, and Bing Crosby. They’ve rounded out their class roster with musical theater and pre-school creative dance and interpretive-dance classes, which help kids express themselves.
Palisades Climb Adventure presented by WonderWorks lays claim to the title of the world's tallest indoor ropes course, and you might not feel like arguing with them when you're 85 feet above the ground. Guests traverse 75 different obstacles that test the climber's mettle, whether they're trying to balance while walking across tremor bridges, maintain their grip on the rope ladder, or fight back the urge to eat the alternating spaghetti handline. Once an adventurer is buckled into the safety harness, they can leap, totter, and dangle through the entire course with the option to leave at any time. The only requirements are a minimum height of 3'6" and a maximum weight of 300 pounds.
