Golf Etc. features a bevy of bogey-friendly products from brands such as Titleist, Ping, Bridgestone Golf, Adidas, Callaway, TaylorMade, and more. In addition to its armory of traditional fairway artillery, Golf Etc. also builds, repairs, re-grips, and re-shafts trusty clubs at its on-site workshop. Re-gripping is $3 per club, plus the price of grip, and can be completed the day the clubs are brought in. If your club handle is already gripped for success, you can opt for a one-hour video golf lesson ($80), which uses a digital coaching system known only as V-1 to give golfers a clearer understanding of their swing and teach them how to harness its inherent energy to jump-start a dead golf-cart battery. Golfers can also get their drivers fitted ($75) and find out which long-distance clubber is best for their game using the Swing Labs Digital Fitting System. Short-gamers can practice putts on a 280-square-foot indoor green that features authentic challenging breaks. Prices provided are from the Pearland store and may vary by location.

Apart from your business's main attraction, do you offer any "hidden" services or activities that visitors are always delighted to learn about?
We offer a variety of services out here to both the aviation veteran or a newbie, including aircraft maintenance to everything from a J3 Cub to a Learjet. We also offer flight training, discovery flights, aerial photography, [and] aerial sightseeing. But, our biggest asset is offering a community for both current and future pilots.
As the old adage says, "Stuff happens." What training do you and your staff have to stay ahead of the unexpected?
All of our staff our highly trained and certified by the Federal Aviation Administration to do their jobs. We have qualified FAA A&P mechanics and inspectors looking after our equipment, and FAA-certified commercial pilots and flight instructors behind the controls.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Our discovery flight is the only one of its kind that offers an intensive but newbie-friendly introduction to aviation fundamentals and flight theory, all of which is yours to keep as seen through the eyes of our Go Pro camera. On top of that, we send you off with a intro to flight training goodie bag and a guide on the next step toward getting your private pilot's license. Coastal Skies is a full service aviation facility. We offer various resources for everyone, whether you're already a pilot, a future pilot, or are just curious about aviation.
GymTastic! has carved out a safe space where kids can tumble, soar, and vault in a structured and encouraging environment. The goal here is to foster development through physical agility and emotional strength, and to that end the staff of nearly 15 coaches leads classes for kids of all ages in the fields of gymnastics, cheer, and tumbling. There are specialized preschool classes to foster a love of gymnastics in toddlers. There are gymnastic fundamentals for girls and boys that impart the skills of their respective sport?girls work on the vault, beam, bars, and floor while honing their skills. Boys classes focus on the six Men's Olympic gymnastic events, including parallel bars and the pommel horse. All are welcome in the cheer classes, where students study motions, chants, and cheers that can one day be screamed from the sidelines or at the theater during the climax of the latest blockbuster.
At the Latin Dance Factory, Christian Franco Gutierrez teaches students rather than a set of rigid moves. A native of Peru, Gutierrez emphasizes the importance of personal flair when dancing?but he also emphasizes the importance of repetition. Instead of teaching entire routines to beginners, he builds their dance repertoires with simple drills, ensuring that his footloose charges master the basic steps of their chosen style.
The studio's dance styles run the gamut from salsa and merengue to cumbia and kizomba. The lesson formats are similarly eclectic. Students can hone their skills in hour-long group lessons, four-hour intensives, or private lessons. For a more social atmosphere, newly minted two-steppers can practice at "date nights," candlelit dance lessons with wine and cheese spreads.
