The three fun centers give energetic cubs a place to stretch their legs and giggle their lungs out by housing a variety of amusing, aerobic activities. Roller skaters twirl and glide during International Sports Centre's and Deptford Skating's public skating hours, turning ordinary weekend afternoons into carefree roller romps. Feet ditch roller skates for socks inside FunZone, a multilevel maze of nets, slides, and monkey bars that spurs boisterous rounds of lava tag. Adventure Alley also occupies lively limbs, this time with bouncy inflatable playgrounds, such as Roo's giant slide, a popular alternative to doing algebra on a trampoline. Only children ages 10 and under are allowed in FunZone and Adventure Alley.

For many local residents, rolling around the rink at Cherry Hill Skating and Fun Center is a bit of a tradition. The center has been open well over 35 years?so for many visitors, strapping on a pair of skates brings a wave of nostalgia. It also doesn't hurt that they have adult skate nights, when DJs spin tunes from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Of course, the center also caters to children; in addition to open-skate sessions, Cherry Hill Skating and Fun Center hosts youth hockey and birthday parties. An onsite shop also sells skates, wheels, and accessories, so people can roll over all the flat surfaces they find out in the wild.

Millennium Skate World is one of the few places where it's socially-acceptable to strap wheels to your feet and take a spin on someone else's polished wood floors. Lively music sets the tone at this family-friendly hub as lights flicker and dance in time, and skaters whirl past a vibrant mural of the Las Vegas strip, with the famous Las Vegas sign adapted to reflect Millennium Skate World instead. Skating is also a great opportunity for families to be active and healthy together, providing a great workout for all ages. When it's time to take a break from looping around the rink, skaters can grab a bite at the on-site cafe or belly up to games at the arcade.

In existence for 40 years, Penn Ice Rink blankets 18,000 square feet with frozen water-diamonds primed for glide-mining. Open-ice sessions are held every day except Tuesday and Thursday, giving frosty foot-bladers numerous opportunities to join a hot date or a lukewarm family member for an afternoon or evening of triple axels and skating gingerly while gripping the wall. Walking into Rolling Thunder Skating Center feels a lot like walking into an indoor carnival: there are rides inside, an arcade with video games and skeeball, and there's even a mural of a rollercoaster on the walls. Still, the center's core identity pulses on the groove of pure roller fun, boasting an expansive rink and its own pizzeria. Around the whole scene, skaters can glide and groove to Top-40 tunes. Parents can join kids on the rink, or watch from the booths in the seating area to ensure that their kids are safe and aren't mouthing any lyrics to Will Smith's Parent's Just Don't Understand.

The Igloo Ice Rink at Mount Laurel furnishes hockey players and figure skaters with ample space to practice puck handling, triple-toe loops, and all-around skating technique. Figure skaters as young as 3 can learn the basics in group and private lessons led by USFSA-registered coaches, who guide beginners along their journey through intermediate and advanced levels. Hockey leagues for both juniors and adults are also available, and designated open skate times invite the public in for taking laps around the rink or practice carving marriage proposals into frozen ponds.
