In addition to dynamic classes, instructors lead pole parties to get women in a sassy mood during bachelorette parties or before defending a dissertation.
Set in the middle of Wilmington's Trolley Square Shopping Center, Pure Yoga Pilates Studio is a peaceful fitness oasis. With large windows that let in sunlight that spills over the bamboo flooring, this welcoming studio offers classes in Vinyasa- and Hatha-style yoga, along with classic mat Pilates sessions. Certified instructors lead the small group classes, helping students to gain strength and flexibility in a supportive, noncompetitive environment.
This expansive studio is filled with tumbling mats, trampolines, balance beams, vaults, and bars—all the tools necessary to perfect one’s skills in gymnastics. Instructors guide students aged 3–17 through routines that help them build strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence. Olympiad Gymnastics has been instilling kids with a love of tumbling for more than 40 years now, and this longevity is due, in part, to the gym's commitment to providing a safe and fun environment for all its students.
Owner Matt Neugebauer, an avid cyclist and self-proclaimed ‘bike nerd,’ brings bikes, apparel, services, and extensive biking knowledge together under one roof at Brandywine Cyclery. His staff of bike enthusiasts—which includes his brother and parents— helps customers navigate the store’s selection of Specialized, Felt, and Colnago bikes. They’ll happily answer questions about the shop’s selection of pedals, wheels, and tools, and offer sage advice on matching apparel with riding habits and weather. Customers can bring their own bikes in for a tune-up from an expert technician or utilize the Body Geometry Fit technique to adjust a bike to their exact physical specifications.
