For 22 years, Richmond Music Center has provided the Staten Island community with an outlet for lessons, equipment, and services for musicians of all ages. Instructors with master’s degrees and professional careers lend their experience to new students and artists looking to improve, covering a wide variety of instruments for garage bands, school ensembles, and electric light orchestras. The center also believes in and practices the healing properties of music via music-therapy lessons for children and adults with disabilities or illnesses. A large collection of instruments, sheet music, and other necessities are available in the center’s shop, as well as repair and tuning services.
No one likes fiddling with stubborn locks or tugging at sticky storage space doors. Luckily, as long as customers keep their belongings with MakeSpace, they never have to deal with these frustrations or set foot in a cavernous and cold storage facility again. Bright green trucks deliver matching 27"x17"x12.5" bins to customers, which can hold up to 12 pairs of shoes, for example, or 70 books, or one life-size Harry Houdini-shaped J-ello mold. Once the bins are ready, the trucks come back to take them to MakeSpace's secure and weatherproof facility, where belongings are watched around the clock by a security team. Customers manage their stored inventory online, and if they need something pulled out of storage, the team will return bins to them within a 24-hour window.
Christopher and his wife work magic behind the lens of Marconi Photography. They travel to weddings and capture brides and grooms getting ready, getting married, and getting their faces covered in cake. The duo also sets up photography sessions for newly engaged couples, expectant mothers, families, and sleeping babies. They even offer photo shoots for clients? pet dogs, rabbits, or dogs' pet rabbits.
