Fred Astaire Dance Studios' highly experienced instructors instill the subtle elegance of waltzes, fox trots, and tangos into dancing gams. Private introductory lessons school feet in a choice of over 20 styles during sessions, as individuals or couples learn the basics of ballroom dance, dance-floor etiquette, and surgical options available for second left feet. Aside from private sessions, group classes encourage amateur dancers to test out their skills with fellow frolickers during 45 minutes of sashaying and socializing. By the end of their introductory education, students whirl and waltz through the studio's spacious dancing environment with more confidence than the Lord of the Dance at an Irish nightclub.

Liberty Wildlife aims to protect wildlife as a precious natural resource as well as serve as a permanent community resource to connect the public with nature and encourage stewardship of native wildlife. The organization educates the public through classroom and civic events that spotlight animals that cannot be released. It also promotes conservation research in habitat restoration, mortality investigations, and human conflicts with wildlife to prevent harm to local animals.
In addition to education and advocacy work, Liberty Wildlife works on the ground by conducting expeditions to rescue and rehabilitate injured animals. Its Rescue and Transport team seeks out injured animals in the field and transports them to the facility for medical services. Then, volunteers care for orphaned or injured birds by maintaining flight cages, hand-feeding baby birds—some of which require feedings every 15 minutes—and matching orphaned birds with feathered foster parents.
In life and at C3 Kitchen, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. From 7 a.m. onwards, staff begin cooking up healthy dishes to start the day. They put together plates of bagels with cream cheese, lox, and veggies, and layer egg sandwiches with a choice of meat on a buttermilk roll. As for drinks, they don't just pour coffee. Instead, they offer multiple brewing styles and coffee drinks, from french press to chemex to espresso. After the breakfast rush, chefs switch over to hot and cold sandwiches and salads that follow traditional comfort-food recipes such as the roast beef and coleslaw, as well as healthy alternatives such as lemon-dijon salads and veggie wraps.
The CoffeePledge Against Cancer's CoffeeWeek, running September 5–11, pours out coffee for inspiration and fuel during a week of anticancer fundraising. Social media spurs coffee pledgers along on their journey, coordinating tweets, pics, check-ins, and donations on interactive digital displays manned by the many-tentacled CoffeeWeek HQ. Portions of all Phoenix proceeds during the week fly directly to cancer treatments at the Phoenix Children's Hospital, powering the struggle against the disease.
