Yoga U’s team of experienced instructors offers frequently scheduled 75-minute Vinyasa and Flow-yoga classes that form a tranquil oasis designed to quell the healthful thirsts of bodies and minds; no prior yoga experience is required for any of Yoga U's classes. Heated Vinyasa classes are tailored to active lifestyles and challenge apathetic muscles and joints to melt their stiff, misanthropic ice sheaths during strengthening and stretching poses. Flow-yoga classes offer a gentler alternative, taking practitioners through postures with an emphasis on alignment and slower-paced movements reminiscent of snail-propelled glaciers. Class sizes are kept at 10–30 people, allowing for individual attention and manageable group hugs.
Our Vision and path is to bring light and energy to the community through healthy practices including physically sound yoga and meditation classes taught with consistency and integrity with certified and experienced instructors in the Yoga Power & Light Studio.
Traditional Hatha yoga is the focus at The School of Royal Yoga Inc, but despite the classic approach, the staff there strive to make the practice accessible to non-traditional audiences. Here, the broad range of yoga classes caters not only to newcomers and experts, but to seniors, teens, and children. Extra gentle yoga classes are available for those recovering from special needs or those who haven't exercised in some time, while mother and baby yoga classes provide a unique bonding experience for parents and children and are open to babies as young as six weeks. This dedication to spreading the joys of yoga also manifests itself in The School of Royal Yoga's nine-month yoga-instructor certification course, which readies participants to lead their own classes.
Mindfulness is the goal of everything Verge Yoga does, from flowing yoga sequences to breathing exercises to meditation. Specialized classes cater to different skill and experience levels, although every session provides its own sort of calming escape, encouraging thoughtful introspection even while incorporating challenging sequences of movements.
For newcomers, introductory-level sessions explore basic poses and breathing techniques, developing the strength, flexibility, and balance that students will need when they move on to more demanding classes. These advanced classes use deeper stretches or seamlessly flowing asana sequences to provide more of a challenge. With continued practice, the instructors help students develop the sort of calm self-awareness that can add stability and clarity to their entire lives.
