The Taste of Pikesville brings together more than 30 of the area's assorted eateries, whisking guests on a culinary voyage to Latin America, Asia, the United States with savory and sweet fare. Pairs can wander the room making conversation as they nibble on bite-size portions of samples such as charred steaks and chops made famous by Ruth's Chris Steak House or simmering Peruvian-style chicken or Cuban-inspired meat dishes from Mari Luna Latin Grille. Area enophiles from Boordy Vineyards showcase wines that may include bottlings from their Landmark Series, sourced from 100% Maryland-grown grapes. Sweet treats will also be on hand, such as red velvet cakes and fruity rainbow cupcakes from Many Mini Cakes. Dessert bites can be paired with a brewed cup of locally roasted or organic coffee poured by Coffee with T.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefit the Baltimore County Police Community Relations Councils (PCRC). The councils harbor an open forum between the police and the community, a dialogue that occasionally leads to ride-along programs that allow community members to ride along in police cars and turn on the siren any time they witness a squirrel jaywalking.
The Bowling Classic hosted by Haruki Nakamura and other Ravens players gives football fans the chance to meet up to six players while bowling for a charitable cause. Attendees talk football and strategize cross-lane tackles as they bowl, wander, and mingle with Haruki, who will spend time at each lane alongside Ravens players and fans. Guests can compare an 8"x10" signed photo to Nakamura's actual likeness as they bid in a silent auction or enter raffles to win Ravens memorabilia and tickets. The winning team will receive a basket of autographed Ravens items, which they can hoist overhead or spike to the ground in victory. Bowlers can whet whistles and toast to big-league dreams at the full bar or nosh on concessions available from area vendors. Part of the event's proceeds will be donated to a charity of Haruki's choice.
The muscle tutors at Fitness Together will work with you to determine your goals (drop pounds, run a marathon, get strong enough to finally confront Douglas) and develop a customized workout plan designed to help you reach your true fitness potential. They’ll supervise your squats, offer nutritional advice, and push you until you see results. Individualized attention means it’s all about you—your trainer can point out when you’re doing a stretch incorrectly, help you tone the trouble zones, and push you to keep going when you’d otherwise quit or become distracted by the fragile beauty of a passing hummingbird.

It doesn't take much to excel at one of Twisted Paint's painting classes. The instructors only have three requirements for their students: have fun, smile, and be creative. With those objectives in mind, students station themselves at canvases with brush, paint, and a glass of wine, and follow along as the teachers provide easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for creating a finished work of art. And the projects aren't limited to paintings either; students can also unleash their creativity onto bracelets, wine glasses, sleeping friends, or articles of clothing.
