Adrenaline Barre Fitness's new, upscale fitness boutique hosts dynamic classes designed to shape both mind and body. Using a ballet barre for support, students perform small, isometric, dance-inspired movements to tone the body from head to webbed swan toes. Separate showers and changing areas are available.
Whether you want to stand taller, bend over backwards, or open a pickle jar taped to your back, BYS Yoga offers a suitable yoga style four to five times every day. All classes are taught by qualified instructors who strive to disseminate the healing power of yoga to all who wish to learn. Basics classes concentrate on fundamental Hatha yoga postures for beginning benders, and Chakra flow/Kundalini sessions and open classes—an exploration of seated meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises), and sun salutations—welcome all experience levels. Yin yoga targets ligaments, bones, and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine for added stretching and freer range of motion, and restorative yoga includes "active relaxation" to reduce stress and avoid potholes of frustration on the road to inner peace. Well-versed in Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and power yoga, studio owner Sasha Reese has made yoga the driving force of her life for the past 14 years. During that time, yoga has helped her find balance in her life, and she now works to help others find their own relationship with yoga. In all her classes, Sasha incorporates meditation, breathing techniques, and the Vinyasa method of flowing between poses in time with breathing.
The proud and pliable recipient of a yoga mat's worth of accolades, Amazing Yoga spreads its limber arms to embrace all practitioners, welcoming stretching sophomores and savants alike. Talented, passionate instructors lead an array of classes over a flexible schedule at each of Amazing Yoga's four studios. Clients can frequent the studio of their choice and stack their chakras in classes such as the Basics, a beginner's power-yoga class that emphasizes foundation postures, helping practitioners build up a strong foundation to withstand floods, high winds, and tickling attacks. Amazing Yoga recommends bringing your own water bottle and a mat to classes, though rental mats are available for $2 per class.

Because we're fun. Some yoga studios take themselves way too seriously and intimidate people. We're open, fun, welcoming, and warm.
Do you believe in the maxim, "No pain, no gain”? Why or why not?
No. Although it's sometimes fun to workout so hard you can't walk the next day, it's a silly thing to do to your body on a routine basis. All of our classes are challenging and appropriate for all fitness levels.
Besides working out, what else can clients do to spend their time at your facility?
We sell Hard Tail clothing—which is made in the US—and local, handmade products, such as soy candles, in our boutique.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Our most popular class is the Yoga on the Go class we offer from 12:05–12:55 p.m. Downtown workers love it because they can get some yoga in the middle of their work day.
