At Cell Phones and More, clients browse phones and accessories from carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Boost, Cricket, and Virgin Mobile. Onsite technicians can reignite the healthy glow of a damaged smartphone screen or rekindle connections between computers and the Internet. Staffers can unlock phones, allowing devices to switch carriers without losing functionality or running away from home in search of their old signals. The shop also buys gently used cell phones and dishes out servings of prepaid minutes.

Participants in Best Buddies’ Ambassadors Leadership Program receive training in speech writing and public speaking so they can become advocates for those with IDD and the Best Buddies programs. They'll learn the necessary tools to help spread awareness to eliminate the use of hurtful words such as "retard" from everyday language and ultimately create opportunities for others with IDD to socialize and become more involved in their communities. After completing training, Ambassadors can speak to local legislators and Best Buddies chapters, train others with IDD, and work at recruitment fairs and other Best Buddies events.
CSCF’s Learn2Swim Program allows children and their families to wade into a heated pool in medically supervised swimming lessons that keep them active and provide a relaxed social outlet. CSCF ensures that the water stays a warm 84 degrees Fahrenheit during lessons with certified swim instructors, under the supervision of medical professionals. Warm towels, snacks, and drinking water await on dry land. Many families cannot afford swimsuits for their children to participate in the program, so CSCF hopes to provide free suits to remove this barrier to their children's participation.
Grandma's Dog Daycare LLC corrals canines into a cage-free indoor play zone, socializing them with a combination of supervised games and freeform romping. During daycare visits, professional trainers oversee tail waggers in separate areas for large breeds, smaller dogs, and puppies, which receive special attention from internationally acclaimed belly rubbers. Daily activities keep pets bounding around the play area or atop designated furniture, and are interspersed with treats.
On Saturdays, the daycare hosts classes for both young and adult dogs that coach obedience commands and behavioral tips. The center also opens its small play parks for visits from furry frolickers weighing up to 30 pounds. Ultimately, each program strives to keep its canine clientele engaged, active, and away from bad role models.
