Ye Ole Butcher Shop's daily menu has boasted a lineup of delectable burgers and down-home barbecue eats since 1974. Kick off comestible expeditions with a buffalo burger, in which cheese, tomatoes, onion, and pickle form a leaning tower of flavor atop a freshly ground buffalo patty ($5.99), or gobble down a turkey burger for a heart-healthy meal or a Thanksgiving warm-up ($5.99). A plate loaded with an offering of barbecue chicken, ribs, links, or sausages and two sides of ranch beans, potato salad, coleslaw, or macaroni salad helps pacify growling belly beasts ($8.99). The weekday specials offer anything from wild hog and 12-point-buck burgers ($5.99) to rib eyes and fries ($8.99), great for carnivorous appetites and meat-powered robots.
For decades, the aroma of freshly baked cookies has lured kids to the kitchen. There's something irresistible about that combination of melted chocolate and sugary dough, and it's not something you simply grow out of. Thanks to Nestle Tollhouse Cafe by Chip, you don't have to. The sweetest shop in Plano welcomes kids of all ages to browse cases lined with giant cookie cakes, gooey brownies, and old-fashioned chocolate chip cookies. On warm summer days, the shop also serves frozen yogurt and, upon special request, douses customers with the cookie dough hose.
If you were to trace the origin of one of Jamba Juice?s freshly squeezed juices, it wouldn?t take long before you ended up face to face with its most important supplier: Mother Nature. Whole fruits and vegetables from her gardens, groves, and orchards fill Jamba Juice's stores: kale, apples, pineapple, carrots, beets, and other produce. Although it?s serious about filling cups with wholesome, natural ingredients, the company is a little more playful when it comes to the palate.
Sure, there are classic juices on the juice menu. Purely Carrot, for instance, which is as elemental and straightforward as it sounds. But there?s also the Tropical Greens, which combines apple juice and pineapple with super greens and chia seeds. And there?s Kale Orange Power, loaded with kale, bananas, and orange juice?all of which are packed with a serious helping of vitamins and manganese. Regardless of which flavor you choose, each 12-ounce juice packs in at least 1.5 servings of fruits and veggies, making it a convenient way to restore energy and get nutrition on the go. The same commitment to simplifying healthy eating can be found throughout the Jamba Juice menu, from its Fruit and Veggie smoothies to its Artisan Flatbreads.
In addition to providing healthy options to customers, Jamba Juice sponsors Team Up for a Healthy America. The initiative is focused on improving childhood nutrition and fitness by encouraging fans to join the Team Up community of celebrities, athletes and other leaders committed to helping the nation stay fit?which you can do by visiting the main Jamba Juice website.
With over 500 stores serving the full freshly squeezed juice menu, Jamba Juice is the perfect way to blend in the good.

The commitment to quality cuts at Hirsch’s Meats is evidenced in every hand-trimmed slab of meat, every handmade sausage, and every serving of fresh-ground beef that sits plump and tender behind the counters. These bona fide butchers have been at it since 1992, cutting and processing meats in-house and refusing to sell any meat that has been weighed down with water, fillers, or byproducts. Each tenderloin, rib eye, and top sirloin is guaranteed to be USDA prime or choice grade, and fresh Iowa pork and natural chickens are always Grade A, but it was the assortment of quality game and seafood that earned the store the Best Butcher Shop nod from D Magazine in 2010. With so much care put into their meats, Hirsch's staff certainly has their hands full, but that doesn't mean they just sell you meat and let you fend for yourself. On the contrary, the shop carries smoking woods such as sweet maple, hickory, and mesquite sweetwood blends, and shelves are stocked with seasonings and the store's own brand of sauces and marinades to ensure that local bib companies never go broke.

What sets your business apart from your competition?
We have an extremely large assortment of unique and hard-to-find jerky under one roof. We are just not a beef jerky store, though. We have very cool and fun gag gifts and novelty items that are perfect for gift giving. Many items are centered around bacon. We also have a large selection of barbecue sauces and seasonings.
What was the inspiration for starting this business?
I love jerky, meat, bacon, barbecue, and cooking or smoking meat, so it made sense to do something centered around what I love.
What is the best reaction you?ve ever gotten from a customer?
Most customers have the same unbelievable reactions when they see many of our unique and exotic products, especially bacon. Many people are surprised that they actually like the taste of our bacon soda when they drink it for the first time.
What?s your favorite part about your job?
Sharing my love of jerky, bacon, and meat with our fans. Also knowing that we are putting smiles on many people's faces when they receive gifts of our products, whether it be Father's Day, Halloween or Christmas.
