Jose Liriano, the executive chef and owner of Liriano's Kitchen, is no stranger to the glamorous side of fine dining. He's prepared his sumptuous, New York?style take on Italian cuisine for the likes of Hillary and Bill Clinton, Anne Hathaway, and the Jonas Brothers. But Liriano came from humble beginnings, immigrating from the Dominican Republic in 1991 to work as a dishwasher in Florida restaurants. He made the most of the experience, absorbing culinary knowledge from the chefs he encountered, and eventually ascended through the ranks to take the helm of kitchens in S?o Paulo, Mexico City, and Miami.
Today, Liriano and his team continue to wow palates with creative, upscale takes on timeless Italian classics. Signature dishes range from braised short ribs over saffron risotto to fettuccini alfredo laced with caviar.
