Each Creative Edge consultant brings at least 10 years of professional experience to projects, ensuring that every frame perfectly complements its portrait, landscape, or recursive picture of picture frames. These experts also handle 3-D projects, creating shadowbox showpieces for items such as plates, sports memorabilia, medals, and dried flowers. Before settling on a design, clients can peruse the showroom to get creative juices flowing. The showroom offers samples of more than 3,000 different mouldings made from materials that range from classic solid woods to reclaimed roofing supplies, and the gallery features fine-art lithographs, giclées, and original multimedia pieces.

By their own estimation, the photographers, video editors, lighting technicians, and other staff at Chicago-based Complete Music And Video are involved in more than 13,000 weddings each year. They cover five major facets of wedding and event production: Using DSLR cameras, their photographers take a candid, photo-journalistic approach, which allows them to capture intimate details, such as fingers gently touching over a tablecloth, or large-scale ones such as horses bursting out of the wedding cake. Similarly, their videographers can preserve the best moments—or an entire evening—using state-of-the-art HD cameras.

Meanwhile, the DJs work with clients to craft evening announcements as well as toe-tapping playlists. Lighting technicians, on the other hand, use overhead lights, monograms, lighted tables, and other elements to conjure any atmosphere you desire. Additionally, Complete Music And Video will let you and your party guests take memory-capturing into their own hands with enclosed photo booths, each of which contains a selection of playful props.

Photographer Grace Trudeau was a full-time model before she picked up her first Nikon DSLR. Drawing upon her experience on both sides of the lens, Grace gives clients posing ideas and shows them her images as she shoots so they can see how they look. During each session, she wields two Nikon DSLR cameras and a trio of lenses , whether she’s working under the soft lights of her home studio or on-location on a farm, at the beach, or in the woods. At the end of each session, Grace custom-edits images, enhancing colors or injecting textures to add depth. Next, she prints out the resulting images onto canvas prints, statuettes, holiday cards, and accordion books; or transfers them onto iPhone cases, mouse pads, and shirts.

When she’s not shooting and editing, Grace is donating her time to various charities and mentoring beginning photographers. At her studio she teaches them about DSLR camera settings, the basics of shooting, and how not to smear peanut butter on your lenses. She then leads them through a real photo-shoot; and invites them to edit their photos alongside her while she gives advice.

Dale Horn first began taking photograph portraits in 1988, and in the following decades he's begun to specialize in candid portrayals of graduating seniors, families, children, and weddings. Dale works in a relaxed setting that puts his subjects at ease, making portrait sessions fun even as he captures defining characteristics of individuals, families, or children. He harnesses years of creative knowledge to turn images of people into works of art, patiently waiting for the right facial expression to capture the subject's personality.
