Q&A with Tiffany Kohler, Photographer

What was the inspiration for starting this business?

I have always enjoyed being behind a camera. The feeling I get is unexplainable. I want to be the reason people want family pictures. I want people to have those memories.

What is the best reaction you?ve ever gotten from a customer?

"Tiffany is an awesome photographer! She has taken all of our family, newborn, and wedding pictures. She is great with babies and children of all ages. And she is "totally creative"! I've never been left unsatisfied. Also she always makes sure to get your pictures to you in a timely manner! We have never had to wait over a few weeks to a month! Love her! :)" - One of my reviews off of my Facebook page.

What?s your favorite part about your job?

I love seeing the happiness pictures bring out in people?to know that I made someone's day by just using my talent. I love capturing toothless babies laughing, or a family enjoying each others' company. It makes me happy.

Summer Love Photography’s shutterbugs describe their photography style the same way they describe themselves: young, hip, and stylish. Their images pop with vibrant colors and high resolution, capturing people in all phases of life. The photographers take particular pride in their bridal work, declaring on their homepage, “We love brides and brides love us.” Wedding pictures evoke the joy of the occasion, particularly the chemistry between the bride and groom as they exchange vows or discuss who will manage the household finances.

Dragonfly Photography imprints life memories onto the railroad penny of time with professional digital snapshottery for families, children, and individuals. With an extensive background in photography and the fine arts, bubbly shutterbug Abby Kruenegel fuses enthusiasm and expertise as she extracts quality photographs from her clients and equipment. The on-location sitting session—be it crib-side, gathered around the family hearth, or in a life-sized zeppelin replica—results in images alternately stoic, heartwarming, or lively (a $50 value). Subjects will receive a compact disc packed with expertly edited photographs to print and hang, give as thoughtful gifts, or slingshot into passing hot-air balloons (a $350 value).

Certified professional photographers Michael and Angela Koska impart fledgling photogs with digital-picture-taking knowledge during the four-hour workshop. The class is divided into three parts—Digital Basics, Taking Better Pictures, and What to Do After the Shoot—to cover all aspects of digital photography. Each camera crusader will learn the fundamentals and snapshooting, from how to use the flash correctly, to how to take pictures quickly enough to capture an image of The Flash. Students will also study backgrounds, foregrounds, and how to get up-close and personal without invading someone's personal space. Before the class ends, aspiring Annie Leibovitzes will know how to eliminate instances of red-eye and what camera angles best capture replicas of The Thinker made entirely of discarded pizza boxes.
