What was the inspiration for starting this business?
I have always enjoyed being behind a camera. The feeling I get is unexplainable. I want to be the reason people want family pictures. I want people to have those memories.
What is the best reaction you?ve ever gotten from a customer?
"Tiffany is an awesome photographer! She has taken all of our family, newborn, and wedding pictures. She is great with babies and children of all ages. And she is "totally creative"! I've never been left unsatisfied. Also she always makes sure to get your pictures to you in a timely manner! We have never had to wait over a few weeks to a month! Love her! :)" - One of my reviews off of my Facebook page.
What?s your favorite part about your job?
I love seeing the happiness pictures bring out in people?to know that I made someone's day by just using my talent. I love capturing toothless babies laughing, or a family enjoying each others' company. It makes me happy.
Summer Love Photography’s shutterbugs describe their photography style the same way they describe themselves: young, hip, and stylish. Their images pop with vibrant colors and high resolution, capturing people in all phases of life. The photographers take particular pride in their bridal work, declaring on their homepage, “We love brides and brides love us.” Wedding pictures evoke the joy of the occasion, particularly the chemistry between the bride and groom as they exchange vows or discuss who will manage the household finances.
The team of photographers at One Moment One Shot captures a wide array of occasions by traveling to shoots in Georgia, South Carolina, and parts of Florida. Photographer Rodney K. Gary specializes in infant, children’s, and family photography, which he snaps on location or by visiting the subjects on the astral plane. The studio also offers several wedding packages that provide four to eight hours of event coverage as well as prints, online proofing, and Photoshop tweaking of select images.
Minibird Photography has a simple approach - capture personalities, not poses.
Sessions are casual, fun, and all about making clients comfortable enough to forget the camera and just enjoy their favorite people.
Minibird specializes in children and family portraiture.
Dragonfly Photography imprints life memories onto the railroad penny of time with professional digital snapshottery for families, children, and individuals. With an extensive background in photography and the fine arts, bubbly shutterbug Abby Kruenegel fuses enthusiasm and expertise as she extracts quality photographs from her clients and equipment. The on-location sitting session—be it crib-side, gathered around the family hearth, or in a life-sized zeppelin replica—results in images alternately stoic, heartwarming, or lively (a $50 value). Subjects will receive a compact disc packed with expertly edited photographs to print and hang, give as thoughtful gifts, or slingshot into passing hot-air balloons (a $350 value).
As charmingly anachronistic as trolleys may be, they move too fast for Pablo Aguilar, one of Capturing Savannah’s co-founders. So to capture the colors, lines, and ornamentation of Savannah’s 19th-century architectural wonders, he prefers to walk, leading groups on tours that blend the historical entertainment of a city tour with the skill set of a photography safari.
While ducking into 200-year-old nooks along Factors Walk, a onetime commerce area, Pablo and co-founder Brittany Nelson teach aspiring shutterbugs to take photos with “a clear purpose behind the shot.” The pair coach tour members to find aesthetically pleasing angles and to thoughtfully compose their images before shooting. Along with technique, they try to instill “a sense of nostalgia” in each photographer. “It’s all about the feeling,” Pablo says, “expressing the same feeling they felt [when they took] the photograph.”
Pablo and Britt previously lived in New York, Chicago, Austin, New England, and the Middle East, but both have fallen for the vibrancy and artistry Savannah draws from its history. For a glimpse of the city as seen through a lens at foot-speed, Capturing Savannah offers a gallery of Pablo and Britt’s tour photos.
