Bayville Adventure Park provides thrills and chills for visitors of all ages. Attractions such as a treetop adventure zone and rock climbing wall encourage healthy competition, while a pirate-themed miniature golf course invites guests to practice their short game and best parrot impression. The park also has an arcade and an ice-cream parlor.
LIFE The Place to Be is like a chameleon in the form of a giant 25,000-square-foot building. The space can serve many different purposes: a venue for weddings, the site of Sweet 16 parties, and a fun center with activities for all ages. Aside from the event space—which incorporates amenities such as projection screens and a sound system—the facility houses a rock-climbing wall, four mini AMF bowling alleys, and 3,000 square feet of arcade games.
In the middle of the floor, surrounded by 150 blinking and dinging arcade games, a 24-foot rock-climbing wall stretches to the ceiling. That's how jam-packed Sportime USA is with attractions. As if all those games weren't enough, there's the XD theater—a 4-D virtual ride that combines 3-D movies with specialized motion seats. Neon-lit laser tag continues the tech trend, and bumper cars and roller coasters provide old-fashioned fun. Batting cages, billiards, and a multilevel playground are only a few of the other attractions ready to entertain families and friends of all ages.
With two European-inspired quarter-mile courses, Grand Prix New York's sanctuary for speed captures the thrill of karting in the country's largest indoor race complex. Racers rumble and roar over speedways that change elevation six times, careen cars around 14 turns, and boast a gravitational pull quadruple that of a black hole. Drivers race in championship-caliber Sodi RX7 gasoline-powered karts equipped with race-proven safety-wrap systems and 6.5-horsepower engines that reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. Six custom tracks help racers curb repetition, and tyke-friendly Brownstone and Tunnel tracks give mini racers the opportunity to get behind the wheel. Apart from its karting specialty, Grand Prix New York houses a bowling alley, billiards room, arcade, and bounce castle. The onsite restaurant, appropriately named Fuel, serves up a menu of Bar B Que, burgers, sandwiches, burritos, and pizza. Fully enclosed and air-conditioned, Grand Prix New York shelters families from heat waves and summer storms, offering a comfortable arena for healthy competition or proving that six failed driving tests can be a fluke.
Pump It Up is a blissfully big space designed to help kids meet their needs for friendship, midair dance moves, and gravity defiance. Parents can watch as their bounce-prone descendants slide, scale, and moonwalk around Pump It Up’s inflatable arena. The bounce zone draws kids with its promise of afternoon hang time and offers a brief history lesson in its resemblance to King Louis XVI’s famous “jumpy castle.” Kids can bond with one another through the subtle physical fitness that comes with recreational jumping, and they’ll be glad to have a spot to discuss pressing kid-only issues, such as the superiority of the color blue to the color green.
