Putter's Family Fun Center strengthens familial bonds and encourages friendly competition with mini golf, an arcade room, and batting cages. The 18-hole mini golf course ($5/person) thwarts shots with tricky terrain and obstacles, including waterfalls, fiberglass giraffes, and ACT testing. Fully charged children expend energy on batting cages ($15 for 30 minutes) and giant trampolines ($3), and the extensive arcade and water-balloon arena serve as battlegrounds for settling inter-family disputes over whose father is the better astronaut. The center also hosts free WiFi and a snack bar, serving energy-packed foods to sustain childish fits of fun long into the night.
Under new owners and management, the championship-style course at Indian Run Golf Club challenges golfers and soothes senses with lush, manicured greens, tree-lined fairways, and watery accents. Throughout the 18 varied holes, four sets of tees boast a yardage ranging from 5,028 to 6,808, helping both novices and expert ball flingers hone their skills. Guests happily putt amid emerald vistas without the liability that comes with a makeshift cul-de-sac driving range while intermittently exploring the grounds on one of Indian Run’s carts. A pro shop and eatery on the premises give visitors the opportunity to refuel hardworking muscles and hungry pitching wedges.
Experienced instructors strive to introduce students of all ages to the joy and freedom of dancing. They've shared the love of their art before diverse audiences and with students, performing and teaching in festivals, nursing homes, and colleges. In group classes, students learn self-expression, gain confidence, and learn basic maneuvers in styles such as waltz, cha-cha, merengue, and salsa. During private lessons, an instructor hones in on a solo dancer’s specific goals or coaches duos or groups through choreographed dances for weddings, parties, or airport security lines.

New students at Boheme Tribal Belly Dance are able to choose from three six-week classes with this Groupon—Pre-Tribal Beginning Belly Dance, Belly Dance for Fitness, and Children’s Belly Dance. Over the course of the six-week Pre-Tribal Beginning Belly Dance course, movers and shakers learn all the basic vocabulary of the American reinvention of the Middle Eastern art form. Taught by Sarah Schneider Koning—the artistic director and a belly dancer of 15 years—the class introduces students to the subtle nuances between the various styles of belly dance. It also teaches the delicate art of isolating individual muscles in the stomach, neck, and hips, giving dancers the opportunity to finally perfect their z-snap routines. Sarah’s students will also shimmy their way to understanding universal dance techniques, such as the basic traveling step, simple choreography, and the proper way to use jazz hands in a street dance-fight.
