Seattle: The Game is an interactive tour that sets friends and family members loose on an exhilarating, knowledge-fueled undertaking guided by text-message clues, trivia, and riddles. Players may explore one or all of the game's three zones, sampling fresh fruit at stalls in Pike Place Market, admiring monuments in historic Pioneer Square, or frowning at all of the Mark Rothko paintings at the Seattle Art Museum. Clues point the way to culinary delights such as Seattle's first bar and flagship Starbucks, and indulge eyes and ears in a chamber filled with porcelain and a record shop frequented by Santana and Eric Clapton. At least one player on the team will need a US cell phone to receive clues, and none of the self-guided tours require previous knowledge of the city. Adventurers play at their own pace—most zones take two–three hours to finish—which allows them to spend more time learning about the city and photographing vibrant fire hydrants for aqua-centric scrapbooks. From the time of activation, Venti Packages give players a year to chase through all three tours.
Celebrating its 7th anniversary, the iconic Portland Aerial Tram rises above the City of Roses on a cable stretching a full 3,300 linear feet end to end, providing passengers with views impossible to get anywhere else as it travels from its terminal in the city to the Kohler Pavilion on OHSU's campus. To date, it has transported 9.5 million passengers on more than 330,000 trips. The cabin ascends 500 feet into the air and travels at 22 miles per hour, making its trip in three minutes, or roughly one-tenth the length of the average Grateful Dead jam. At the end of the line, riders can enjoy spectacular views of the city from an observation deck equipped with outdoor seating and tables.
The flagship of Imperial Limousines’ fleet is not a party bus or a stretch SUV—it’s a pair of vintage Bentleys. One is a black-and-silver 1957 Bentley S1, and the other is a tudor-gray-and-silver 1961 Bentley S2. Both vehicles have gray leather upholstery that is accented by handcrafted wood, and both look good carrying a bride and groom. The chauffeurs also have Lincoln Town Cars and stretch limos at their disposal for airport transfers, wine tours, and last-minute lifts after your car drives off to join the circus.
As the captain steering Its All About You Luxury Transportation Services, Cedric Nash ensures that all passengers inside his Cadillac SRX arrive at their destination safely and securely. Clients can call upon Cedric to drive them to and from Portland International Airport, Mt. St. Helens, or the Rose Garden but must bring along a friend if they want to play the license plate game along the way. Cedric also offers his chauffeur services on an hourly basis, a setup ideal for celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, and proms.
