As a co-op of independent and family-owned garages, AutoCare Northwest has two primary requirements for membership: ASE-certified technicians and the NAPA nationwide warranty. Whether in Portland or Oregon City, each participating auto-care center is manned by highly trained technicians, who offer a range of services—from simple oil changes to major repairs—backed by NAPA's Peace of Mind 12-month or 12,000-mile written warranty. The crews install quality NAPA parts, most of which include a lifetime guarantee for as long as the customer owns the car or remembers its middle name.
For more than 30 years, Oil Can Henry's has been making sure road warriors run safely and efficiently with their famous full-service oil change. Relax from the comfort of the driver’s seat as the friendly techs sate your engine’s thirsty parts with up to five quarts of Castrol GTX conventional oil, protecting the engine against thermal breakdown and dry skin. Apart from their delicious new oil, coddled cars also receive a new oil filter, chassis lubrication, windshield washing, and a visual inspection of both the chassis and under the hood. A check and fill of the power steering and windshield-washer fluid will leave the auto feeling refreshed, and a tire-pressure check and fill will leave it bouncing like a robotic baby. The maintenance mavens will also check everything from the brake fluid and PCV filter to the lights and windshield wipers, ensuring every inch of your chicken-less carriage is in optimal working order. A video monitor positioned next to the driver's window allows customers to view the entire under-hood and under-body service, and every change comes with Henry's Top-Up Guarantee, which allows customers to return within three months or 3,000 miles for a complimentary topping off of fluids (upon presentation of receipt).

Paul and Maggy Henry met in the adventure travel business - the California company where he worked sent hikers to the Peru-based company where she worked. As owners of Vespa Portland since 2012, the duo now helps clients with shorter, everyday journeys. Alongside motorcycles from Ural, Paul and Maggy stock their spacious showroom with scooters from brand-name manufacturers such as Vespa, Piaggio, Genuine, and Sym. To supplement those rides, the pair also supplies accessories such as helmets, goggles, baskets, and rain suits.
In addition to selling new scooters, Paul and Maggy's team maintains rides that have navigated their fair share of streets. Headed by lead mechanic Pedro Galvan - a graduate of Phoenix's prestigious Motorcycle Mechanics Institute - a crew of factory-trained technicians keeps scooters in top shapes with original equipment manufacturer parts. The team also stores motorcycles and scooters in its warehouse over the winter, where they ready rides for spring by charging batteries and making sure bikes take their allergy medication.
Light prances across the hoods of gleaming rides in NW Auto Spa's sheltered bay, where technicians draw on extensive training to manually chase grit from finishes. Against a sonic backdrop of hissing water and raspberries blown on vehicular underbellies, crews polish windows and unleash vacuums in crumb-strewn interiors with services for all makes, models, and sizes of cars. In addition to basic details, crews bathe autos in luxury with additional services such as clay-bar treatments, fabric guard, headlight restoration, and tire dressing that leaves wheels with a sheen darker than Darth Vader's tuxedo.
