For 25 years, World of Dance has taught ballroom dances including the cha-cha, waltz, salsa, and foxtrot to students whose skill levels range from recreational to competitive. The studio’s approach is simple yet effective. Students typically start with one-on-one or group lessons so they can learn techniques and basic body positions. They then apply what they’ve practiced during the studio’s regular dance parties, performing the waltz to demonstrate their graceful new moves or the tango to fulfill their latent desires to chew on roses.
At Rocky Mountain Dance Academy, students learn to bust their best moves under the instruction of devoted instructors. The schedule offers a wide variety of classes that cater to diverse boogie ambitions. Children 7–18 years old can cultivate coordination and leverage power over their lanky limbs in jazz, ballet, hip hop, pom pom, and lyrical classes; 2–8 year olds can enjoy the combination jazz-ballet classes. Energetic adult hip hop and Zumba aerobics classes help adults (and anyone over 7 years old) reach their fitness goals without having to get up in the middle of the night to bench-press the TV. Your six-week class will meet for one hour each week and can begin at any time.
