  • Chantey At Marina Bay
For 25 years, Marina Bay has funneled fresh breezes into The Chantey at Marina Bay's dining room, where it stirs up aromas from burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and seafood. Since they work a shell's throw away from the sea, the kitchen staff has a surfeit of fresh ingredients to work with when crafting fried-clam strips, baked haddock, and steamed lobster. They also make liberal use of the kitchen’s barbecue sauce, splashing it onto the Chantey burger, the grilled-chicken sandwich, and the chicken that dots the barbecue pizza. Seated at booths, high tables, or the bar, eaters can augment their meals with cups of New England clam chowder or appetizer plates of fried calamari served with banana peppers. Outside, a white picket fence surrounds a handful of patio tables and crab cakes that still aren’t ready to be reintroduced into the wild.

  • SUP Marina Bay
Nestled just outside Squantum Point Park, SUP Marina Bay launches its rental boards onto the waters of Quincy Bay. Whether setting out for an exploration of the surrounding islands or for a session of sunset water yoga, paddlers have free rein to traverse the bay's calm waters. Among the destinations within paddling distance from the docks are a hidden cove, an overgrown airfield, and an old shipwreck. Renters can also pack up their rental boards for trips to other watery bodies, such as their pool or their neighbors' slightly better pool.

  • Harbor Queen Cruises
Harbor Queen Cruises' namesake cruise boat Harbor Queen slices through the sparkling waters of Narragansett Bay during daytime jaunts or evening soirees. Passengers can take to the high seas for dining and drinks during dinner or brunch cruises, or wander the two climate-controlled decks during cocktail parties. Harbor Queen Cruises makes parties memorable with the help of an onboard chef, who crafts buffet-style meals and New England–style clambakes, and a complimentary parrot for every guest’s shoulder.

  • Boston Bowl Family Fun Center HANOVER
Boston Bowl Family Fun Center is a modern yet nostalgic bowler’s haven thats open 24/7 all-year round with 30 traditional tenpin lanes as well as 14 ever-tricky candlepin lanes. Fully automated scoring systems keep track of every roll, and optional bumpers prevent balls from appearing in the gutters or into the nightmares of first-time bowlers. Once 10th frames have come and gone, Boston Bowl keeps players entertained with other forms of hands-on entertainment. In Dorchester, such activities include billiards, outdoor batting cages, and an arcade of more than 80 high-tech interactive video and prize games. The recently expanded Hanover location now includes state-of-the-art party rooms for private post-bowling soirees as well as a larger game room. In addition to the pizza and handcrafted beer, both locations offer an extensive catering and party menu for private events.

  • Deadwood Cafe and Brewery
Amid the clattering pins and spirited cheers that echo across Boston Bowl's lanes, Jack Torchetti never lets his attention drift from his three stainless steel tanks. As the brewmaster for Deadwood Cafe and Brewery—the entertainment complex's site for quick eats and frosty drafts—Jack ensures that the taps constantly flow with five different beers, all of which he creates on the premises. The selection includes everything from a stout made using four varieties of malt to a pilsner made with Liberty and East Kent Golding hops. Growlers are available as well as pints and pitchers, allowing patrons to enjoy their beer at home or at the nearest crazy straw factory. While ordering a beer from the counter, customers can snag a quick bite from the café's menu of classic comfort foods. In addition to wood-smoked St. Louis-style ribs that fall off the bone, the cooks grill Angus burgers, load down sandwiches with Boar's Head deli meats, and glaze wings with piquant buffalo sauce. The menu also includes a handful of Italian-inspired dishes, namely 10 different pizzas and calzones stuffed with everything from thin-sliced ham and cheese to baby spinach, onions, and feta.
