Romance and Dance Pole Aerobics welcomes women of every age, build, and fitness level to their studio, where 15 poles comprise a stage for empowering twirls. Each instructor strives to spark new self-confidence in the students through pole and chair dance as well as workout classes, which impart techniques from booty isolations to handstands. Private parties held onsite or at area homes teach small groups to channel seemingly weightless wiles. On alternating months, celebrity pole instructors captain specialized workshops, highlighting new tricks, such as how to make phone calls with your stiletto.

Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
[With] fun and new styles. Barre is new to this area and because it is a ballet-based workout taught by dancers (to new pop music), the choreography of the class changes all the time. [Clients can] also try sassy burlesque classes or barre [classes] without the barre. Balance your hardcore classes with Dancers Stretch or yoga.
Besides working out, what else can clients do to spend their time at your facility?
Unity is where it all comes together?fitness, diet, and mindfulness. We have a licensed massage therapist on hand who uses organic products only [and] two nutrition-health counselors, one of whom offers applied kinesiology. [We have] a noninvasive test to find body imbalances, such as a vitamin deficiency or even food allergies. We will offer our clients' kids classes to [teach them] coping skills via breathing exercises [and] games, and [to teach them] ways to regulate themselves, resulting in a more whole healthy family. [We also have] monthly seminars on health-related topics, such as essential oils, MELT, cancer prevention, and more.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Unity is owned by a professional dancer, who teaches the importance of proper placement for injury prevention. Most barre studios are franchised and not run by a dancer who has trained for many years. We will offer ballet placement classes to break down where your body should be before you add weights and bands and get hurt.
At Cardio Fit Sports Club, a sea of free weights floods the weight room, where strength-training machines, elliptical units, treadmills, and cardio machines also beckon visitors to work toward their dream bodies. Experienced trainers draw upon experience in martial arts and other disciplines while leading workout classes targeted at certain muscle groups. The instructors also design courses according to the needs and varying levels of all of their clients. The driving rumble of high-energy bass lines drifts from Zumba sessions, and relaxed sighs waft from yoga and mat Pilates classes.
The dance-fitness style from which Karingah! Boutique Fitness Lounge takes its name is African at its core, but also reflects Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and Latin American dance traditions. Love for other parts of the globe isn't limited to the studio space, however.
