Staffed by experienced local musicians and DJs, One Sound Music Academy instructs tune-crafters of all disciplines. Brass, woodwind, string, percussion, and voice lessons hone skills for players of all ages and skill levels. The academy’s traditional music programs take their cues from the Maryland state music curriculum, and courses can culminate in student recitals. Group and private DJ lessons cover topics such as music theory, genre mixing, and blending, teaching aspiring jockeys how to mix floor-filling party anthems from vinyl or CDs.

Sixty-minutes of drop-in baking and cookie decorating includes icing, sprinkles, and an apron and chef's hat, allowing youngsters to bake and decorate their delicious treats in batter-proofed style. Each dessert progeny walks away with a tummy filled with wholesome sweets and a new skill set perfect for wowing the critics at the teddy-bear picnic.
