Raynham Athletic Club is a family-oriented club with classes for all ages. In addition to a full weight room stocked with Hammer Strength weights, resistance machines, and Cybex circuit-training machines, the club also has a cardio theater populated with Precor machines including treadmills, stationary bikes, and ellipticals. For guided fitness, trainers lead personal-training sessions as well as more than 15 group exercise classes such as yoga, Pilates, Zumba, basic fitness, aqua aerobics, and kids' fitness.
More than 20 years ago, husband-and-wife bodybuilders Glenn and Lisa Ducharme left the competition circuit to settle down. But for them, settling down didn’t mean ditching the barbells for a desk job. Instead, they fulfilled their dream of opening a fitness center where members could gain the same health benefits that the Ducharmes experienced first-hand during their competitive careers. Today at East Coast Fitness, the couple and their staff of trainers oversee personal-training sessions, group classes, and karate programs for kids and adults.
You can't help but feel tranquil at Melanie's Day Spa—and it's not just because a giant Buddha statue greats you in the calming violet waiting room. The treatments here focus largely on relaxation, from hot-stone and foot massages to more targeted deep-tissue and prenatal techniques.
But the treatment roster also creates more tangible results than stress relief, as evidenced by a lineup of facials that incorporate such anti-aging ingredients as seaweed, organic mud, and even plant stem cells. Clients can also opt for à la carte waxing services.

Owner Richard Lanza began Open Doors as a metaphysical healing center and store in 1992, and he carried that healing spirit into the yoga studio he opened in 2003. At Open Doors Yoga Studios, Richard's goal is to create a space where people feel empowered to explore their personal beliefs on a path toward self-healing. Thus, yoga instructors at the studio's numerous locations help practitioners achieve their personal goals through accessible classes, each designed to build core strength while quieting the mind and increasing body awareness. From slow-flow heated classes to unheated Hatha sessions, students can participate in a variety of yoga styles geared toward beginners, more experienced participants, and those who only feel comfortable in a 98-degree room.
