Doctor of Chiropractic John Ross is happy to recommend other physicians. Though he developed the signature Ross Method of chiropractic treatment and possesses 35 years of clinical experience, he insists on only accepting patients he knows he can treat. If he can't, he will send that patient to another practitioner that he trusts can remedy them. For those he accepts, Dr. Ross' holistic approach can address a range of issues with a combination of chiropractic care, nutrition, massage, and exercise. In his chiropractic consultations and exams, Dr. Ross assesses anatomical ailments and explains varieties of nutritional adjustments, exercise modifications, or vaudeville routines that may help return the body to its former state of painlessness. His staff includes a licensed massage practitioner, who eases the effects of distraught skeletons with neuromuscular massage therapy.

Morris Family Chiropractic, which is guided by husband-and-wife team Dr. John R. and Lisa B. Morris, treats aches and pains under the chiropractic philosophy that states the body is capable of healing itself when finely tuned. An initial exam probes your posture before an x-ray peers into the stability of your skeletal anchor. After determining if there are any alignment issues and whether or not your spine is made up of wish bones, an adjustment realigns spines, alleviating pressure on the nerves and allowing energy to flow freely to organs and tissues. The treatment can correct a variety of ailments stemming from giving birth, being in a car accident, not sleeping well, mental stress, and eating tires.

What?s your favorite part about your job?
I love being like an old country doc. I get a big thrill out of helping people feel better and being able to improve their quality of life.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
When I saw the benefits of chiropractic first-hand. My wife suffered from migraine headaches, and an adjustment was the only thing that would help her get rid of them.
What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?
I am a cowboy-boot, Levi type of guy. It is my name on the door, so when you come to my office you get to see me and only me.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We treat our patients like I want my family (out west) treated when they go to a doctor. I treat my patients without all the dog-and-pony shows.
Mason Chiropractic Center takes a holistic approach with every patient, designing personalized treatment regimens intended to simultaneously address painful symptoms and the symptoms' underlying causes. The chiropractors accomplish this by beginning with an initial consultation that can include a physical evaluation and diagnostic x-rays. From there, the main technique at the chiropractors' disposal is the spinal adjustment: a manual realignment of wayward vertebrae along the spinal column. These misaligned vertebrae can interfere with communication throughout the central nervous system, preventing bodies from operating at peak efficiency.
Adjustments aren't the only tool available, though. The chiropractors can also recommend massage therapy and electrical muscle stimulation to help alleviate soft-tissue aches. Additionally, they dispense valuable knowledge so patients can maintain a naturally healthy lifestyle and improve their overall quality of life.
Chiropractic physician Dr. Doug Stithem offer chiropractic evaluations, spinal corrections, and supplemental health resources at Peak Family Health. They administer a consultation and examination during a patient's initial visit, along with posture and x-ray evaluations to determine underlying problems that may aggravate conditions such as allergies, arthritis, headaches, or hypertension. Chiropractors then perform spinal adjustments to correct subluxations or misplaced back scratchers that may be inhibiting the nervous system or spinal joints. The doctors and their staff help their patients maintain healthy lifestyles by offering nutritional recommendations, leading health workshops, and adult-proofing any tempting cookie jars.
