Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?

We keep it fresh and fun.

What is the biggest mistake you see people make when trying to get fit on their own?

Lack of variety and [not incorporating] an element of fun. Being healthy should be energizing and make you feel better ... not stressed out or part of the daily grind.

When and how did you first develop a passion for fitness?

I started teaching aerobics soon after high school and completely fell in love with the way working out made me feel. I got my personal training certification soon after, and have been in the health industry since then. I started taking yoga about three years ago and immediately became hooked. It is challenging physically and mentally?the best workout I have found in the 20 years I have been in the fitness industry. I believe in its benefits 100%.

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?

The world would be a better place if we all did a little yoga.
