John Lamoreux first started tinkering with cars as a teenager after his mother, Dorothy, encouraged him to fix up her coworkers' vehicles. Almost 30 years later, John's passion for all things automotive has translated into The Auto & Tire Doctor, his three-acre, AAA-approved automotive-repair center and maintenance shop. John welcomes roadsters of all makes and models into his shop's 14 full-service bays, employing computerized diagnostic equipment and a staff of ASE-certified experts who specialize in Audis, Volkswagens, and Subarus. Handling a host of automotive services, The Auto & Tire Doctor also uses a computerized My Car tracking system to schedule appointments and track maintenance records. Since 1988, Auto Care Super Saver has been helping car owners save cash with maintenance punch cards redeemable at local auto shops throughout the course of a full year. These cards come loaded with all kinds of prepaid services, including at least three full-service oil changes with up to 5 quarts of oil, lube, and a new filter.
