At Bounce n' Boogie, kids of all ages can express their creativity without graffiti-ing the living-room wall. For infants to 2-year-olds, Baby Bounce n' Boogie classes promise music and movement as well as the squishing and rolling of toys to help develop motor skills. Junior Jumps classes, open to 16-month-olds to 4-year-olds, blast music while kids play on balance beams, mats, hurdles, and other obstacles. Scented smoke wafts through the air of the casual Terrene Hookah lounge. Like at a buffet, patrons choose what the like from a bottomless menu of various tobacco flavors. Upgrades make the experience extra luxurious, including supplemental ice that fills hookahs to create thick billows of chilled smoke, and premium flavors from shisha tobacco brands such as Fantasia that go down smoother than a fistful of buttery marbles. Terrene also sells hookahs and hookah accessories including steam stones and coals.

Grammy-winner and R & B singer Rihanna unleashes her formidable pipes and celebrated songbook as she continues on her LOUD tour. Vibrant costumes and first-rate production harmoniously augment the singer's chart-topping oeuvre, which includes hits such as "Umbrella," "S & M," "Only Girl (In the World)," "SOS," and "What's My Name?" From their general-admission lawn seats, concertgoers can marvel at the elaborate set pieces gilding the stage as their eardrums feast like hungry dachshunds in an unmanned pizza parlor. Lawn-seated guests are invited to tote along blankets or chairs with seats less than 9 inches above the ground. The concert will also feature J. Cole adding his own vocal talents to the evening's aural enticements, creating a two-pronged attack on musical monotony.

The highly lauded board-treaders at Blackout Theatre delight audiences with ensemble-based comedies that cultivate an inviting environment of artistic discovery. In conjunction with the Vortex Theatre's Summer Shakespeare Festival, Blackout's charismatic laugh-lobbers will present Che-kspeare, a gut-busting show melding the Bard's literary panache with modern improvisational techniques and ambiguously British accents. Audiences pepper in a few choice character and plot suggestions, then sit back and bear witness as performers expertly craft a brand-new, one-act play that incorporates the highfalutin language, time-honored themes, and internet-based courting rituals of Shakespeare's plays.
