The staffers at Sunsets Tanning declare that their mission is to make clients “look good naked.” To do this, they put their Smart Tan certification to use to outline a tan plan based on each client’s skin tone and desired shade of bronze. Then they guide clients into private treatment rooms for airbrush tanning or show them how to hop into tanning beds—like a bunny, preferably. Both the rooms and the beds within them are meticulously cleaned by the spa’s staff. They also change each bed’s bulbs after 200 hours of service so that they always shine as brightly and evenly as the fluorescent scales of justice that hang outside of the Supreme Court.
Primo Comfort Footwear's ample display of shoes caters to runners, athletes, and everyday strollers and includes name brands such as Noat, Merrell, Terra Plana and Inov8. A helpful staffer seeks out a solemate for each foot, slipping rugged paws into durable Tevas ($25) or separating misanthropic toes from one another in the five-toed Vibram barefoot mask ($60+). Slip into a pair of water-resistant Crocs ($30–$45) or rest heels on the cork soles of buckle-bedecked Birkenstocks ($70). The shop carries a variety of athletic and casual styles to keep customers prepared for feats of physical prowess or long waits standing in line outside exclusive tree houses.
Opening a new business in the middle of a recession takes bravery. Yet, in 2009—on the heels of their success with their first boutique, Fopp’s—Courage. b’s owners decided it was time to open the store. Since their days at Fopp’s, the Courage. b line’s designers have been fabricating each of their pieces in-house with looks that give off a timeless, European elegance. Their one-of-a-kind blouses, sweaters, and pants are as fashionable as they are classic. And their dresses and separates seamlessly weave into most wardrobes. The collection also includes original accessories, such as handbags, scarves, and belts. Since opening, Courage. b now has several locations in style hubs from East Hampton to Colorado, a testament to the clothing’s accessibility and stylishness, whether during cocktail hour or snowball-fight hour.

We have a shoe repair facility on premises
Shoe Spa founder Beth Weingarten was tired of achy feet. Her experience with shoe shopping was always the same—either she found a comfortable pair of shoes that weren't stylish, or she found a fashionable pair that hurt her feet and didn’t fit well. Finally fed up with the tug-of-war of painting wedges onto wool socks to look the part, Beth set out to open her own shoe boutique to showcase footwear that was comfortable, designer made, and chic.
Shoe Spa embodies Beth's mission of seeking out, stocking, and selling fashionable shoes, boots, clogs, and sandals, all designed to cradle feet, pad heels, and support arches. The Shoe Spa carries a range of styles from designer brands such as Anyi Lu, Thierry Rabotin, Salpy.
The team behind Fairway Jewelers has operated by the same creed for more than 30 years—treat each customer like family—so it’s fitting that the shop’s owner, Amy Lord, is married to the store manager, Bob. That familial partnership lends them particular credibility and expertise when they help customers fashion memorable anniversary and birthday gifts with custom jewelry designs, or stunning rings, earrings, and necklaces made from sterling silver and 14K gold.
Amy and Bob regularly feature American-made finery from seasoned jewelry designers and regularly buy and sell precious treasures from estates. They even repair watches and jewelry pieces to prevent artistic masterpieces like The Girl Without a Pearl Earring.
