Pure Escape Resort’s certified skincare professionals nurture faces and bodies with treatments that make use of gentle formulations and infusions of natural ingredients such as fruit and seaweed. Pores get their USDA-recommended four servings of fruit a day with a pumpkin, blueberry, or cranberry facial, and a microdermabrasion treatment momentarily blings out skin with tiny crystals that work to reduce the appearance of fine lines, sun damage, and acne scarring. Along with their many skincare services—all of which are noninvasive and thus require no post-treatment downtime—the staff relaxes and beautifies bodies with massages, waxing, and tinting for the lashes and brows.

Do you agree with the phrase "beauty is on the inside?" Why or why not?
Absolutely. People are beautiful by how they treat others. Not how they appear.
Do you use any products or brands you're particularly proud of? What makes them uniquely effective?
We use cream (unless it is a hot-stone massage). This will not leave our customers feeling oily after a massage. They can go where ever they want after the appointment without having to stop at home first.
What is the best reaction you?ve ever gotten from a client?
I had a gentleman who had surgery years ago. He had feeling in his toes, but always had a tingling sensation in them. He said that since his massage, he no longer has that feeling.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Our massages are a full hour on the table. We do not take away time for paperwork or the process of getting on/off the table.
From athletes to expectant mothers and everyone in between, Christine Duffen wants clients to relax. Her massage sessions can be enjoyed with or without hot stones, whose heat sinks into muscles to encourage them to release tension. Her body wraps help flush toxins from the body, and private yoga sessions help clients find their centers.
After years of working at a high-pressure job, which often left her physically and emotionally drained, Fawn Cook knew she needed to get out. She wanted to keep her stress levels under control and help others do the same, so she decided to leave the corporate world to pursue massage therapy—a decision that eventually led her to open Serendipity Massage in 2010. Alongside her team of massage therapists, Fawn works to rejuvenate her clients through custom massages, reflexology, and detoxifying body treatments that employ mud, algae, and promises of treats to draw out impurities. The menu of add-ons enhances the already-decadent treatments with aromatherapy, a scalp and neck massage, or citrus body polish.
Drawing from her Native American heritage, licensed massage therapist and aesthetician Nelissa Chamberlain integrates alternative holistic treatments and traditional bodywork to nurture her clients in both body and soul. Nelissa's specialty is massage, and she weaves reflexology and hot stone therapies into her sessions to treat sore muscles all over the body and gather research for her PhD dissertation about ticklishness. In the spa's serene treatment rooms, clients can achieve glowing, smooth skin with a wide range of skincare and waxing treatments.
