As the founder of Samadhi Yoga Center, Denise Alick leads by example, drawing on her own experiences practicing yoga for more than a decade. She and her staff of instructors guide adults and children alike through expert and introductory classes, from slow-flow yoga sessions that introduce first-time students to the basics of breath and movement to more involved Vinyasa flow classes. At the center's retail shop, yogis can pick up new mats, bags, and instructional DVDs that were recorded live in Samadhi's studio, free from the distracting celebrity cameos found in Hollywood yoga videos.

Monica Rynearson has always had a passion for wellness--she began her fitness career as a YMCA fitness instructor in college, and worked her way up to a career as an operating room technician and health care benefits manager. Because of her extensive health and fitness backgrounds, she was drawn to the alignment- and safety-focused STOTT Pilates method. At Fit4Movement, she teaches clients of all ages and abilities to embrace Pilates’ diverse workout regimen, which pumps up coordination and core strength through a unique blend of cardio, weight resistance, and stretching. Monica combines this body-sculpting Pilates method with other fitness regimens—such as the ballet-inspired Barre method—during her Pilates+Barre class.

Monica holds several certifications, including STOTT Pilates mat and reformer certifications, as well as those for the Barre method and Bohdi Ropes, a core-strengthening suspension system. Though she does not offer group classes in all of these methods, she currently gives one-on-one instruction during private reformer Pilates and Bohdi Ropes lessons.

In 2001, founder Carrie Rezabek Dorr began teaching dance classes in her very first studio. A lifetime of choreographing and performing across the United States had prepared her to teach others how to nurture their passion for dance. But an interest in fitness led her to explore mixing ballet and exercise in an effort to bolster her students' health and flexibility while reducing their chance of injury. Now called the Pure Barre method, Carrie’s fitness regime tones the hips, seat, arms, and abs by combining small movements with barre exercises that tone without building bulky muscle. This new regime ignited a fire under her students that soon spread to other studios across the United States. Today, instructors from Alabama to Washington continue to teach Carrie's method, while she continues to refine her techniques and search for the lost city of El Dorado.
