The CrossFit 101 course teaches the 12 movements fundamental to the program, emphasizing client safety, community building, and terminology. In a clean, family-friendly environment stocked with experienced personal trainers who offer group classes and individual training, seekers of sweat who've lived in fear of machines since the release of Terminator can relax because the CrossFit program relies on exercisers' own bodies and simple equipment to build buffness. Constantly changing workouts of the day can be scaled to any fitness level and might involve an intense 800-meter run, followed by 10 handstand pushups, 15 front squats, a walking ab twist, and another 800-meter run, which keeps things from getting locked into a boring routine while building endurance, strength, flexibility, speed, and balance.
