Adorned in their signature denim shorts, black tank tops, and Timberland boots, the Canz-a-Citi Girlz greet each Canz-a-citi Roadhouse guest. In between handfuls from endless bowls of complementary popcorn, diners can munch on wings slathered in scorching “Dirty Canz” hot sauce, burgers with one, two, or three 5.2-ounce bacon-topped patties, and fried Twinkies or Oreos. More than 200 kinds of canned beer, 20 drafts, and colossal cocktails such as sangria or jungle-juice fishbowls wash down each bite until 4 a.m., seven days a week.
Wood hues, brick walls, and a metal roof create the roadhouse atmosphere, as does decor such as license plates covering the ceiling, a beer-can-lined bar, and old hubcaps patrons can use to reflect light while tanning in the parking lot. Up to 60 TVs also broadcast UFC bouts and accompany visitors during weekly karaoke in each restaurant.

It’s not often you see flavors such as Chilean sea bass in a teriyaki glaze and filet mignon topped with cilantro hoisin sauce on one menu. Those Asian accents on Italian and New American dishes weren’t lost on The New York Times reviewer of Chi Dining Lounge, who said "the restaurant pulses with life, and the food is just as vibrant." It’s largely what makes the eatery so unique. Even the brick-oven pizzas—most of which embrace pure Mediterranean flavors—also offer toppings such as kung pao calamari and fried chicken cutlets with bacon and ranch dressing. Almost in contrast to the menu's joyful variance, the dining room’s décor is elegantly simple. The well-lit space features earth-tone walls and booths as well as flowing white window drapes that glow as natural light streams through them. In the bar area, you’ll find a more intimate ambiance that becomes increasingly spirited as bartenders begin mixing signature cocktails and pouring 16 wines by the glass.
From scary movies to haunted houses, Halloween entertainment often errs more toward the trick end of the holiday's trick-or-treat spectrum. Rise of the Jack O'Lanterns, however, embraces treats with its scare-free, family-friendly walking trail, which showcases more than 5,000 hand-carved and illuminated Jack O'Lanterns. Each unique piece is the work of local artists and sculptors, who spend anywhere from a few minutes to upwards of 20 hours on their designs.
Those images are arranged according to theme along the trail, leading guests past groupings of pumpkins carved with everything from characters on The Big Bang Theory to Tim Burton creations, all accompanied by corresponding songs. There are lanterns, floodlights, and a few fireflies just hanging around to illuminate the path.
