  • Live Nation
Beloved boy bands New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys rev the engines of adoration among droves of fans with their poptastic summer tour. New Kids on the Block has been plucking heartstrings and handcrafting harmonies since 1986, combining a collection of international hits such as "Hangin' Tough" and "Step by Step" with five-part choreography and fashionable duds. Following in their footsteps, the Backstreet Boys began blowing up charts in the '90s, producing a songbook replete with favorites such as "I Want It That Way," "All I Have to Give," and "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)." The NKOTBSB Tour brings both acts together for a songful extravaganza, forming the more perfect union prophesied nearly 50 years ago by the Constitution. The May 25 concert also includes the vocal virtuosity of special guest and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, adding to an ear-pleasing stew of dulcet melodies sure to soothe the most savage beast or most irascible mail carrier.

  • Color Me Rad
Color Me Rad is back and better than ever with its 2015 tour, staging 5K races that transform runners into mobile rainbows by launching cheerful barrages of colored cornstarch and a whole new GEL color. Each color station along the racetrack flings a new pigment at passersby, who wear white shirts to enhance the chromatic onslaught's costuming effects. Brilliant neon-blue, green, purple, and yellow clouds dapple participants along the way, and the race concludes with a prismatic finish-line finale as sprinters chuck colors at each other in celebration. The race's noncompetitive credo shifts the emphasis from speed to silliness, and a portion of its proceeds go to local charities. Upon registration, each runner collects a Color Me Rad T-shirt and a pair of RAD knee-high socks, sponsor gifts, and a race bib. Also, new for 2015, all runners will receive access to free professional digital photo downloads. Though they don't receive a gift packet, runners who are 7 years old and younger can run for free as long as they are either a Kings Island Season Passholder or have purchased entry to the park for the day of the event.

Pro tip: Let your coaches know of any injuries and concerns before you get started. Also let them know how you are feeling afterwards. Q&A With Crossfit Epiphany How do you keep clients motivated to reach fitness goals: In order to keep our athletes motivated we rely on 3 things. Results, the community, and our atmosphere. We program our workouts to help you reach your fitness goals quickly and have a good time in the process. When you start to see those changes you?ve been wanting you will keep you coming back for more. Our community in the gym also helps motivate our athletes during each workout. As you get to know people that are on the same journey as you, you begin to want to work alongside them as you sweat together. Hard work is easier when done with friends. And finally we created the proper environment for workouts. We have everything you need including nutrition support and workout tracking. Crossfit is simple, why not do it on my own? Well aside from being able to come in to our facility, look at the pre-programmed workout, get all the equipment you need, and do it alongside others that do it, we also provide personal instruction. One of the great things about Crossfit is that many of the movements can be done almost anywhere. It?s ?functional? fitness! But getting the proper training to do those movements is important. Here at CFE we really focus on correct technique in order to provide a safe and effective workout system. Proper instruction on each movement and proper loading on a beginner, especially the weighted movements, can help prevent injury and when movements are done properly they can provide better results. Out philosophy is technique first, speed second. What can a member expect the first time? When you come in to CFE for the first time there is no need to be nervous. We provide you with all the information you will need to get started. There will be plenty of time to ask any questions you might have. We walk you through the entire process of what to expect on a day to day basis as a Crossfit athlete. We will go over what Crossfit is, how classes work, and how to integrate into the gym. We will go over a warm up and then break down our basic fundamental movements done in the gym. We also put you through a short evaluation workout using those movements in order to gauge your fitness level. This allows us to integrate you into the programming properly. Then we go over a short stretching session and send you on your way.
