Euphonic apprentices can open up their epiglottises in voice lessons, strum away on guitar, or prepare to marshal their army of G.I. Joes by beating some drum skins. Lessons are also available on the piano, as well as band and orchestral instruments. All students except drum and piano pupils must supply their own instruments for use during lessons, where they will learn a curriculum geared to their individual goals and interests. An extensive library of method books imparts the techniques to tackle any style of music and teaches students to read music, so that they're able to interpret the plotline of Mozart's romance novels.

Students learn camera basics and tips on setting up shots of people and landscapes. The photographer also captures special moments at clients? weddings, including the ceremony, the first dance, and the traditional walk over hot coals.
After competing in the Southland Athletic Conference, the UTSA Roadrunners officially joined the Western Athletic Conference in 2012. The Roadrunners’ leave their former conference with 48 Southland Conference Championships in two decades of athletic membership, as well as the 2007–2008 Commissioner’s Cup, awarded to the conference’s top athletics department. The Roadrunners will move into Conference USA in the fall of 2013.

Having partnered with a court-approved program, the school also hosts defensive-driving courses that help increase drivers' awareness and safety. Those courses can help drivers get tickets dismissed and receive discounts on car insurance.
Sponsored by Texans Archery Club, the non-profit indoor Texas Archery Academy promotes the art of safe arrow-shooting for all skill levels. The academy hosts multiple levels of archery lessons, among a variety of other programs, with limited public access. Lessons held at Gass Rd. are located within the 671 acre National Shooting Complex.
