Time can warp our memories, just as proximity to an active volcano can warp treasured collections of action figures. That’s where DVD Your Memories comes in to permanently preserve photos, videos, film reels, or cassettes in a variety of high-quality digital formats. When customers step into any California or Colorado DVD Your Memories location, a lab coat–clad technician gently walks them through the preservation options, which include CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, or hard drives. As per company policy, that very same technician will return the original source material, along with a digital replica of the customer’s choice. DVD Your Memories can also take media to the next level with additional services, which include basic video editing, photo restoration, chapter creation, and superimposing your favorite president into your birthday party.
Decked out with HD SLR cameras and video messaging, Pixster Photo Booth captures lively moments at parties, receptions, and corporate functions in sharp, clear images. Those images print out in custom-designed and colored photo strips, and all pics snapped during the event find their way onto high-resolution photo disks. Picture nooks adorn shindigs as open-air or enclosed booths, with options for external lighting effects to set booths aglow, as well as scrapbooking stations where guests can get crafty with their photos.
As the lead designer for a large contractor, Alon David frequently contacted photographers to snap photos of his team’s work. However, his aesthetic preferences rarely matched up with the photographer’s, so he began to do the job himself. After the hobby blossomed into a passion, Alon decided to open his own photography studio.
Since then, he's brought his keen eye for design to his primarily outdoor photo shoots with kids, couples, and families. He often experiments with camera angles, snagging eye-level shots of toddlers to view the world from their point of view, or snapping overhead pictures of his young subjects to capture their innocence and curiosity. He likes to tinker with the focus, too, shifting between large and shallow depths of fields to focus on one subject and make the other blurrier than a cheetah in a sports car. The resulting black-and-white, sepia, or color photos are always carefully framed around the location, such as the large exposed roots of a Moreton Bay fig tree at Balboa Park.
