The Art of Framing's skilled craftspeople protect and prolong the life of treasured paintings, photographs, and three-dimensional artifacts by encasing them behind thousands of frame designs. Outside of their standard framing services, technicians also stretch mats and fabrics; heat-mount delicate documents; and mend scratched, chipped, and shrink-rayed framework. More than merely preserving personal collections of photos and posters, The Art of Framing promotes the area's thriving art community, hosting a show once a year as well as selling local artists' work in the gift shop.
At Get Centered Clay Studio, instructors teach fledgling clay artisans the basics of slinging, spinning, and molding ceramic works in a fully equipped facility. During each two-hour private instructional class, participants will learn a brief history of clay making, as well as the foundational skills necessary to hand form clay, spin symmetrical pieces on the potter's wheel, or sculpt lifelike busts with their minds. Budding artists can then hone their craft on amorphous clay blobs, becoming familiar with the materials and the wheel. Although students will not create a fully finished piece, they will leave equipped with the know-how to make ceramic water jugs and full-scale concept cars in the future.
During the scenic biplane ride, you and your best friend or building manager will occupy the front seats of a restored 1920s open-air plane as a skilled pilot flies from the back cockpit. The 20-minute flight buzzes along the Southern California coast, over scenic beaches, through the clouds, and under dangerous rainbows. With matching headsets, you’ll be in constant communication with the pilot, who will customize your journey as you wish and take you wherever you’d like to go at a leisurely drift or a grueling pace that would exhaust even the strongest yolk of oxen.

At Inflatable World, a 35-foot slides tower above 40,000 square feet of space as youngsters cavort among the outdoor park's 12 air-filled and watery attractions. Nestled among the soaring slides, bounce domes shelter leaping tykes and obstacle courses challenge adventurers to navigate obstructed terrain. Themed inflatables in the shapes of dragons, pirates, and saber-toothed tigers host open-play participants, as well as parties and fundraisers. Inflatable World also rents out its stock for events, pairing football enthusiasts with end-zone bounce houses or existentialists with specially deflated items.
