Operated by Nicole Briscoe, a stylist with 12 years of experience, The Industry Salon, located inside the Industry 453 clothing boutique, entices individuals by offering high-quality treatments performed with creative flair. Nicole’s passion for styling, which was nurtured during training sessions with Bumble and bumble, Paul Mitchell, and Redken, shines through during each and every appointment as she works with her clients to achieve inspired new looks. From haircuts and color treatments to facial waxing and clip-on extensions, Nicole aims to improve on their natural beauty. Shellac manicures, another specialty of Nicole’s, utilize a specially formulated polish that resists chips for up to two weeks, an ideal nail treatment for court reporters working under a judge who moonlights as an auctioneer.
At Platinum Hair Design, hair designers Deidra Cooper and Karen Wilburn oversee a variety of salon services powered by a spread of European products and Enjoy’s haircare line. Enjoy—a brand known for its sulfate-free shampoos and botanical-rich, volumizing conditioners—stars in many services by day, and occasionally moonlights as the preferred choice of local lounge singers. And when the team needs inspiration for new products or services, they often turn to Toni&Guy's award-winning training sessions, which have recently blessed Platinum Hair Design with trending treatments such as trilevel color weaves, blond-on-blond highlights, and caramelizing highlights.
With a creative menu full of indulgent and beautifying nail services, Francesca keeps fingers and toes looking sharp, colorful, and well-groomed. She offers mani-pedis, chip-free Shellac treatments, and french manicures, but she also maintains a rotating list of specials. Past offerings have included blackberry-vanilla sugar scrubs, black-currant soy masks, and vanilla-cream massages, which make for beautiful nails and skin as soft and silky as a lounge singer's voicemail message.
While guests recline in chocolate-colored pedicure chairs, the seasoned nail artists at Pro Nails & Hair Fashion pamper and polish digits into stylish accessories. Both options begin with the classic buff, file, and cuticle grooming, creating matching tensomes before scrubbing away hardened heels and absorbed socks. Staffers then soothe each digit with a mini massage and bedeck nails in bright OPI polish. Signature pedicures embellish the spa version with a sea-salt scrub, which sloughs off rough soles before a treatment mask seals in moisture for soft, velvety feet. Two nail designs then bedeck toes, adding a decorative floral flourish to tootsies without attempting to make shoes out of wallpaper.
Expert aesthetician Bonnie Berry of Impeccable 10 Nails deploys more than 30 years of digit-tending wisdom to pamper individuals with a bevy of beautifying transformations. Designed for women who take pleasure in flaunting a baroque set of nails, the CND Hybrid Shellac manicure outfits each pincer in an exquisite, lustrous layer of Shellac guaranteed to last for 14 days without chipping or running off to become a part of the nearest magic mirror. The 45-minute treatment leaves nails and cuticles trimmed, shaped, and buffed for a lovely 10-piece ensemble of newly primped Fritos grabbers. Running a no-credit-card operation, Berry burnishes extremities within the tranquil ambience of Golden Touch Salon, which is situated near shopping where clients can go postmanicure to pick up finger-shaped blouses.

The interior of a business can affect how its customers feel. What kind of decor do you use to help make your clients feel pampered and at ease?
Our interior is a mix of soft relaxing colors such as blues and green and white. It is more of a home feeling and everyone enjoys the relaxing easy listening music that is played. The spa is very quaint and homey.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a client?
That our services are really customized to each person and that we have such a extensive menu for a small place that offers services that fits for each individual need.
What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
We offer several complimentary beverages such as white and red wine, more than 10 different hot teas, bottled water, hot cocoa, and coffee. We also offer snacks such as snack bars, chocolates, and other sweets.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We believe that a spa experience is best when taken the time to service each individual needs and customize to their liking. We are a very small boutique spa and this gives us the opportunity to give more of a personalized and customized experience to each client in a more private setting.
