Using the body as their canvas, the artists at SDInk Tattoo and Body Piercing bring a client’s vision to life in any size, shape, and color. The artists, who specialize in tattoos that contour to the shape of the body, use vivid colors, satin blacks and greys, and ultraviolet ink visibile under black light to create custom tattoos. In additional to traditional and Japanese designs, the artists also create realistic portraits that can depict a loved one or beloved pet. And though ink is their specialty, the shop's professionals also pierce any body part that falls above the waist. Customers must be 18 or older for tattoos, but piercings are available for customers under 18 with a consenting parent or guardian.
Led by medical director Dr. Ariel Cortes, owner and founder Gita Izadi and the rest of the medical team at Neu Look Med Spa & Skin Center help people feel youthful and confident. Izadi opened the business in 2003 with that very goal in mind, drawing upon her more than 25 years of experience as a registered nurse. She started out with clinical services—ranging from Botox to advanced laser procedures—before adding an array of relaxing spa treatments to the lineup in 2009. Now, patients can schedule a fractional CO2 laser skin-resurfacing procedure to combat signs of aging and follow it up with a fragrant pumpkin-apple-spice facial or a soothing body scrub with mineral-rich sea salt.
The waiting area welcomes guests with a soft, pale-blue sofa next to an iridescent wall flanked by twin waterfalls. Patrons nosh on complimentary refreshments as they enjoy fragrant aromatherapy, while a centerpiece of elegant, white orchids provides a tasty snack for any visiting toucans.

A sparkling chandelier, mirrors in gilded frames, a marbled Corinthian pillar. Ultra Lux Salon and Day Spa would live up to its name by décor alone. But once patrons slide into chairs, a team of hairstylists extends pampering still further by snipping off split ends, coloring locks, and adding length with extensions. Spa services such as massages, manicures, and waxing soothe bodies as well as strands.
Given Salon Sol's name, the space is fittingly illuminated with natural light from from large front windows. A warm shade of yellow also covers the salon's walls and cabinetry. Amid these cozy accents, skilled stylists renovate tresses with hair treatments aided by products from Bosley, Pureology, Enjoy, American Crew, and Moroccanoil. The salon also offers invigorating facials, which penetrate deep into pores to rid the skin of dirt and grime, along with waxing and threading. In addition, Salon Sol pampers guests with mani-pedis, each of which come with a complimentary reflexology treatment.
