The certified technicians of Poshe' Skincare Salon customize each aesthetic service—from natural-nail treatments to full-body waxing—to their clients' individual traits as they dole out time-honored beauty advice. Armed with Dermalogica and Jan Marini Skin Research products, aestheticians help fend off impurities and aging with eight facials, each of which includes exfoliation, a nourishing mask, and hydration in addition to adding invigorating extras such as papaya enzymes, alpha hydroxy acids, or mineral sea salts. To further polish bodily surfaces, microdermabrasion liberates faces, necks, and upper bodies of dead skin cells to reveal fresher complexions. Permanent makeup decks eyelids, brows, or lips with durable daubs of micropigmentation, creating the appearance of natural-looking cosmetics sans the smudging, smearing, or telltale kiss marks on handsome department-store mannequins.
A sparkling chandelier, mirrors in gilded frames, a marbled Corinthian pillar. Ultra Lux Salon and Day Spa would live up to its name by décor alone. But once patrons slide into chairs, a team of hairstylists extends pampering still further by snipping off split ends, coloring locks, and adding length with extensions. Spa services such as massages, manicures, and waxing soothe bodies as well as strands.
Stil at the Meridian's stylists personalize care to each patron and apply skills learned through continued aesthetic education. The approximately five-minute feathering process begins with the selection of the perfect plume from the salon's supply, which is harvested from down pillows hoping to sneak into a lower weight class. A stylist fuses the feather to hair follicles with a bead or bond extension that can be resilient enough to endure an array of strenuous activities, including swimming. Avian-inspired tufts can also withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees, allowing regular flat-ironing and previously scheduled dragon dental work to continue unimpeded. To retire fringe, patrons simply take out the bead or bond, or return to the salon for a quick removal ($5), which is not included in this Groupon.

The interior of a business can affect how its customers feel. What kind of decor do you use to help make your clients feel pampered and at ease?
Our interior is a mix of soft relaxing colors such as blues and green and white. It is more of a home feeling and everyone enjoys the relaxing easy listening music that is played. The spa is very quaint and homey.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a client?
That our services are really customized to each person and that we have such a extensive menu for a small place that offers services that fits for each individual need.
What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
We offer several complimentary beverages such as white and red wine, more than 10 different hot teas, bottled water, hot cocoa, and coffee. We also offer snacks such as snack bars, chocolates, and other sweets.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We believe that a spa experience is best when taken the time to service each individual needs and customize to their liking. We are a very small boutique spa and this gives us the opportunity to give more of a personalized and customized experience to each client in a more private setting.
Inside this spa, filled with neutral earth tones and soft lighting, therapists administer Swedish massages for the mind, hot stone and deep-tissue massages for the body, and raindrop technique massages for an uplifting combination of the two. Microdermabrasion treatments are also available to give clients renewed confidence in their appearance. And in that vein, the technicians also offer two methods of hair removal—waxing and electrolysis—in order to render the body as smooth as a lounge singer’s voice mail message.
At Simple Beauty Spa, the staff pampers clients with a full array of health and beauty services. This includes everything from facials and mani-pedis to massages and spray tans, making the spa a true beauty oasis. But it’s also a place to relax and simply feel good. And thanks to organic products used in the majority of the spa’s services, guests can even feel good mentally, and not guilty when they hug a tree or afraid when it hugs them back.
