Why is the studio's schedule so packed with fitness-tinted dance classes? "Because sweating is fun," explains its slogan. Between yellow-green walls, professional dancers teach kids and adults how to cut rugs and stay fit at the same time. Classes like Zumba, Pilates-infused burlesque, and hip-hop dance classes let on-staff choreographers showcase skills they also employ for special events—customers commission them to polish their wedding and quinceañera dances.

In one year, Without Regrets Foundation co-founders Tara Ballard and Ché Heinroth knew three adults who passed away and left behind young children. One of these parents, Scott, was diagnosed with cancer in October 2010 and died the following April. He wanted to take his son to Yankee Stadium before passing away, but was unable to make his dream come true. Because of this story and many others like it, Ballard and Heinroth decided to do all they could to give families an opportunity to create memories from one last experience.

Before starting Without Regrets, both cofounders worked with a variety of family charities including March of Dimes and The Leukemia Society. They meet with families who have at least one parent facing a terminal illness and help them pick a good experience for them to share with their children. With approval from the parent's physician, the group then funds the event or trip, leaving the kids with lifelong memories to cherish.

THN's Quarters for Kids program provides homeless youth with new school clothes, including gym wear and shoes, that adhere to school dress codes. To ease the stigma and conspicuousness associated with wearing second-hand clothing, particularly among teens, Quarters for Kids outfits students in all-new clothing items. The school-appropriate packages include two new school outfits, as well as gym clothes, underwear, and socks.

APA shelters FeLV-positive cats in individual enclosures so that they can live out the remainder of their lives in comfort, without the risk of infecting other animals. Infected felines cannot live in normal shelters due to the contagious nature of their illness, so they must move either to specialized shelters or adoptive homes. APA requires additional funding to build more cat enclosures for FeLV-positive cats, with the goal to prevent unnecessary euthanasia.
