Another popular event, the Miyabikai, holds workshops in Japanese doll making and educates the public in many of the ancient techniques involved in doll making. The Cherry Blossom Festival includes many exciting events such as the Kayo parade, a music program, and the Queen program which is dedicated to training young women to become stronger individuals. Besides being America’s largest and longest-running green living event, Green Festival brings people together to build awareness in the green marketplace. It goes beyond ‘fruits and veggies' (although you will find lots of them here). It's about educational awareness and introducing the public to the widest selection of green products and/or services. That way you have the confidence to say you know how to "work green, play green and live green." As a festival visitor, you can learn about companies and innovative brands, both national and local. You can listen to pioneering thinkers or talk with other green consumers about long-term sustainability and green living. With different dates and locations on both coasts, it’s just a matter of finding a Green Festival near you.
