Enzo Sushi's artistic chefs transform seaweed, sticky rice, and a variety of classic and creative ingredients into diversely flavored rolls. Diners can crown a mealtime monarch with a king-lobster roll, a regal combination of lobster salad and lobster tempura alongside crab and avocado ($11.90). Patriotic crews can park tongues on the Americanized Chick-Fil-A roll, an amalgamation of fried chicken, avocado, and spicy mayo stirred with John Hancock's favorite pen ($4.95), and vegetarians can cozy up with rice pillows such as the asparagus tempura ($5.95) and seaweed-salad roll ($4.50). Search for gilded piles of pickled ginger at the end of a Rainbow roll, which tops a standard california roll in a colorful combination of tuna, salmon, white fish, and shrimp ($9.50), or resign yourself to pennies and pull one out of a friendly server's ear.

Craft a rope made of straws and climb the food pyramid with Planet Smoothie's menu as a trusty, yet tasty Sherpa. Thirst quenchers are grouped according to blasts, which range from the protein-rich workout blast to the vitamin-C-loaded immunity blast. For post-gym Planet Smoothie consumption, wrap your muscled eyebrows around a Big Bang, loaded with strawberries, bananas, vanilla, and your choice of protein or workout blast. If you catch a tickle in your throat, breeze through an anti-sick sampling of the Screamsicle, a pineapple-peach concoction with orange juice, yogurt, orange sherbet, and 230 percent of your daily vitamin C. To simultaneously support breast-cancer research and taste buds, sip on the Pink Promise smoothie, a blend high in antioxidants. Smoothies range in size from the after-jog-appropriate 22-ounce ($4.49) to the meal-substituting 44-ounce large ($6.55), and all drinks may be customized or supplemented upon request (try a Merlin's Mix—a protein-packed powder that turns your smoothie into a meal replacement, $2.99 additional). Planet Smoothie uses Pro-Yo, a frozen yogurt that is naturally fat free, low calorie, a friend to the digestive system, and sweetened with Stevia. The Vinings and Midtown locations also offer wheatgrass shots ($1.75–$3.25 for a 1- to 2-ounce shot).

Natural light streams through wide, white-draped windows, dappling the open, airy space of tables and booths at Nancy G's. While relaxing in the casual and friendly atmosphere, diners can peruse the menu for brunch, lunch, and dinner fare made with a mama's love and a culinary stranger's panache. Brunch, the Minotaur of the meal universe, is a simple affair. Try the classic eggs benedict ($9), the buttermilk pancakes ($6), or two buttermilk biscuits served with red-eye sausage gravy and two eggs any style ($8). Because breakfast has long been an excuse to eat dessert as a meal, Nancy G's crafts a delectable, homemade Swedish apple crêpe ($11), brimming over with cinnamon apples and Nancy's special cinnamon-honey granola mix.

Colorful instruments erupt with sound as belly dancers twirl and shake their bejeweled torsos to the musical beats. As the dancers weave between tables, some diners remain enraptured by the show while others carry on intimate conversations with their companions. Along with belly dancing on Friday and Saturday night, Fanoos Persian Cuisine hosts flamenco music and dancing by performer Calo Gitano on the first Sunday of each month.

In the kitchen, cooks flit about with the same merriment as the dancers. The owners fondly remember the Persian flavors that highlighted their youth and commemorate these recollections with a menu replete with familiar and lesser-known Mediterranean dishes. Steaming platters of shish kebabs and veggie-rich stews served alongside beds of rice round out the menu and complement spirits and international bottles of wine. For special occasions, they also rent out their restaurant for events to entertain up to 400 guests.

At (STAND) UV & Spray Tanning, tanners choose from a variety of traditional and UV-free bronzing methods. With an effect similar to tying the sun around a tetherball pole, standup UV booths feature 360-degree tanning, deepening skin tone during expedient 8- to 11-minute sessions. Patrons opting for sunless tanning can choose between automated Mystic Tan sessions with a choice of four shades of tan or custom Norvell airbrush treatments applied by trained technicians. Additionally, red-light-therapy sessions unclench faces from the grip of Father Time by reducing the appearance of fine lines and large pores, as well as boosting elasticity.
