Aesthetics come first for the skilled staff of Anywhere Whitening, who dazzle dental dandies with an array of in-office teeth whitening treatments. Situated within Suncoast Wellness, the team ensures clients smile, laugh, or enter Roman oratory contests with the utmost confidence. The suite's whitening system melds an exclusive gel formula with an LED whitening system for proven lightening results in 20-minute sessions. Following each safe, pain-free procedure, clients leave the office showcasing reflective smiles styled by the latest dental technology.
Using a combination of whitening gel and FDA-approved blue accelerating lights, the DaVinci teeth-whitening system can leave teeth an average of up to eight shades whiter. During office visits, clients apply the signature whitening solution—an organic plant- and mineral-based gel—to chompers. A specially designed LED laser light is used with the food-grade hydrogen peroxide gel to lift lingering stains. Once the tonal transformation is complete, patients may walk away with the graffiti of tobacco, wine, coffee, and age erased from their smiles. To continue the process, Davinci also produces a take-home personal whitening kit that includes 12 gel applications, an LED accelerator light, custom-fitted trays, and remineralizing and desensitizing gel to care for enamel.
Dr. Thomas A. Bowles, a dental surgeon with more than 10 years of experience, works with patrons to help accomplish aesthetic goals for gleaming smiles. During the first of two appointments, the team thoroughly examines oral features and delves into jaws with a digital x-ray that produces less radiation and secondhand show tunes than a traditional unit. An intraoral camera snaps internal images of the mouth, and patients can request their own copies of the toothsome portraits. In a second appointment, a specialist delves into the results of the previous examination and describes in detail possible cosmetic improvements such as porcelain veneers, crowns, and glow-in-the-dark molars, taking each client's unique facial features into account before making recommendations.
Director Ginny East's illustrious dance career has taken her around the country, from the Manhattan studios where she trained to schools and companies in Boston, St. Louis, and New York where she's taught and worked as a choreographer. Now she leads a team of lifelong dance lovers at ReFlex Arts in Sarasota, where she also co-directed the successful Flex Dance Studios for nearly two decades. It was while working at this latter location that, out of a belief that a studio should put just as much thought into its children's classes as its adult classes, she began developing her own youth-dance curriculum, known today as Kiddance. Like someone who was sent a link to a video of pandas rollerblading, the idea clicked: East soon began selling her syllabus to teachers from across the country, along with accompanying training videos and CDs. But even as kids' classes remain a focus for East—the Children's Dance Center teaches students ages two to eight basic dance skills and proper studio etiquette—she's found a way to incorporate into the center her additional expertise as a certified yoga instructor. Packed with exercises performed on suspended strips of cloth, the center's aerial yoga classes help students develop the gracefulness they need to execute a pirouette or climb a ladder on a unicycle. Since all the activities at ReFlex Arts involve developing the capabilities of the body, it makes sense that the center would also help visitors unwind with massage and body treatments. Services draw on techniques from around the world, from the popular gliding strokes of Swedish massage to the ancient Japanese healing motions of reiki.
Guests arriving at Sarasota Smile Design might forget that they are there for porcelain veneers, an implant, or a root canal. As clients walk into the lobby, a dental concierge brings them gourmet coffee or hot tea and homemade cookies or muffins. The heavy wooden coffee table and Baroque-style chairs create an ambiance that more closely resembles an Italian palazzo than a dental office.
Before their appointment with Dr. Jenifer Back—a dentist who divides her time between restoring smiles, publishing journal articles, and teaching functional cosmetic dentistry at the esteemed Nash Institute—patients can access the Internet or watch the plasma-screen TV in a private lounge. To whisk away pretreatment jitters or shake loose spare change from pockets, patrons recline by candlelight in a massage chair while music emanates from the surround-sound theater.

Within The Hair Spa's brightly colored expanse marked by white french doors and blue, green, and yellow walls, clients perch on black salon chairs and sip complimentary beverages as trained stylists coax locks into artful arrangements. Each treatment begins with a shampoo session, which washes away impurities to prepare cranial décor for expert coif construction. Stylists then either create face-framing tendrils with a blowout, achieve stylish altitude with an updo, or charm head snakes into coiling up into party curls. As strands lap up undivided attention from the stylist, clients can soothe parched throats with a glass of beer, champagne, wine, or a non-alcoholic beverage from the complimentary drinks menu.
