Despite spinning's reputation for being an intense workout designed for the super fit, CycleQuest Studio's classes welcome students of all shapes and sizes as long as they bring the willpower to pedal. Unlike full-service gyms or the Addams Family mansion, the practice space is refreshingly minimalist with just a few rows of bikes with magnetic mechanisms that churn out a quiet hum, a couple of TVs that play motivating clips of the Tour de France, and locker-room facilities. During calorie-burning rides, Mad Dogg Spinning–certified instructors play their favorite upbeat tunes to give hearts something to pump to, and some classes incorporate strength-training exercises to balance calorie burning with muscle building.
Twin Cities VIP helps to create memorable nights on the town by staging visits to some of the city's exclusive clubs. Groups may either walk to and from locations, or snag a ride and a drink in one of the fully stocked luxury limousines while a host or hostess tags along to keep spirits high. Not only do club-crawl fees include all applicable cover charges, but they also allow parties to officially jump over any lines without riding the coattails of pogo-sticking celebrities. From there, partygoers are free to lose themselves in the music and flowing cocktails until it's time to depart and head to the next club on the list.
The United States Coast Guard–certified captain of Magnolia Blossom, an old-fashioned black-and-white-painted steamship, pilots his vessel alongside city skylines and wild parks with up to 125 passengers on board. On its three cruise routes, the boat drifts by Pike Island and the skyline of St. Paul, passes through a lock and dam under the Minneapolis skyline, and floats past wildlife preserves and state parks on lengths of the Minnesota River, all without running any red lights. Inside the vessel, a climate-controlled lower deck lined with tall windows houses rows of banquet tables, each surrounded by chairs draped in white and tied with large red bows. On the top deck, café tables offer panoramic views from beneath a three-quarters canopy cover.

Calhoun Bike Rentals lives comfortably close to scenic Lake Calhoun and the Midtown Greenway trail, both perfect riding routes to refresh romances or settle sizzling Sudoku debates.
CitySolve lets citizens explore their metropolis through a one-day odyssey that tests speed, stamina, and smarts. Teams scamper through their burb as they solve clues ranging from anagrams and pop-culture trivia to deciphering graffiti written in pig Latin. Interspersed throughout the race are mettle-testing physical challenges, molding iron wills to such tasks as dodgeball, improv comedy games, or identifying ice-cream flavors. Each day's race also awards winners for best costumes and best tweet. Each urban iditarod takes between two to three hours, and jet packs are strictly prohibited.
