The six women who perform hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling for FashionShots are truly an elite team: among them, their work has been featured in Vogue, on E!, at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and in Modern Salon magazine. Their impressive skill enables them to work on a variety of projects, from senior photos and boudoir shoots to headshots for aspiring models and commercial work.
Whatever the project, the complete hair-makeup-and-wardrobe experience is designed to make each client feel like a model for a day. Subjects will prep for their shoot by reviewing a Mood Board, an email from the photographer with suggestions for outfits, hair styles, and makeup. The day of, clients bring in 3-5 complete outfits, and will then be coached through the shoot by a photographer who is also a former model. Afterward, subjects will go through the images with the photographer, selecting their favorites for complete retouching and printing.
At Bonnie Blue Walking Tours of Savannah, lifelong Savannah resident and licensed tour guide Bonnie leads tourists and curious residents through the streets and squares of her hometown on fully customized walking tours. Savvy Savannah Tours founders Rebecca King and Cyndie Parmerter pinpointed a problem with local tours: guests’ lack of connection to the content. Determined to bridge the gap between guides’ narratives and visitors’ imaginations without connecting their brains via electrodes, they designed a new brand of walking tour that sometimes incorporates interactive technology. The Scenes of Savannah Past guides are outfitted with iPads that display retro pictures of Savannah as they pass the locales in modern day. But other tours, such as the culinary Eat it and Like it or beer-tasting Savannah Suds, let the southern flavor of the city speak for itself.
Release uses holistic treatments to detoxify clients and improve the condition of their skin and body. The Chi Nei Tsang technique opens blocked energy channels by applying pressure on specific abdominal points. During Scalar Wave cold-laser sessions, low-power infrared beams penetrate deep into the skin, affecting bone, cartilage, and even DNA. Treatments work to help reduce stress, alleviate pain, balance organ function, and help faces look millions of seconds younger.
