Jennifer Venditti, an instructor at Lilananda Yoga, thinks of yoga more as her best friend than a form of exercise. "Whether you've never practiced before, if you haven't been on your mat in a very long time, or if you practice every day," she says, "your practice is always there for you." She herself has been developing her own relationship with yoga for more than nine years. Whenever she leads a class, she incorporates a little of everything she's learned in that time: breathing exercises, asana sequences, meditation, and pure relaxation. She likes to make her classes easy for anyone to step in to, and she offers modifications for any exercise a student finds too difficult.
