Nestled along the shores of Lake Washington, Magnuson Park hosts the Magnuson Series, a monthly medley of running and walking events designed for all skill levels. Each series includes a 5k and a 10k run and walk, as well as a 15k run and a 400-meter dash for kids. In addition, attendees can often participant in marathons, duathlons, and even enroll their pups in doggie dashes. Rather than challenge repeat runners with new courses, the series keeps its same courses every month so racers can measure their improvement. Proceeds from each event go toward the non-profit Club Northwest, as well as various charities dedicated to preserving native plant habitats and green spaces.

Seattle Cycle Center's motor mavens cater to motorcycle owners with an array of gear, apparel, and Kymco Scooter sales and service. Hide hands in a leather and poly-mesh pair of Olympia Air Force gel gloves, whose precurved fingers and pleated knuckle joints foster more finger flexibility than bare-knuckle typing tournaments ($29.95). Armed with a River Road Fork Bag ($24.95–$29.95) and an Ogio Throttle black backpack ($69.95), bikers can securely tote home important work documents or a year's supply of tableware from fast-food restaurants. A bevy of bulbs and lights keeps roadsters night ready ($7.95–$134.96), and helmets and riding apparel provide a perfect disguise for hiding from overbearing grandparents. An authorized Kymco Scooter service hub, Seattle Cycle Center can also tweak and tune cruisers to bolster their day-to-day rideability or prep them for upcoming cross-country adventures.

CKO Kickboxing's Joseph Andreula opened up his first gym in Hoboken, New Jersey, back in 1997. In that humble location, the fitness guru helped his clients shed their spare pounds and ratchet up their self-esteem with intense kickboxing workouts. Once word got out that Joseph's program of punching and kicking heavy bags got you more ripped than stay-at-home programs of punching and kicking ghosts, the gym caught on. CKO Kickboxing locations began to pop up throughout the country, where the newly expanded company's commitment to delivering heart-pumping workouts even earned a mention on NBC's Today.
